I think his ‘attitude’ stems from the fact that everything he’s tried to do, especially earlier on returned very little. His lack of commitment stems from that. I think he’s been unlucky and maybe not good enough. He certainly wasn’t blessed with any sort of supply which h he may have thrived on,
He’s probably going to be better at another club. | |

Yates has had more chances and not been so obviously ostracised
Plymouth seemed to get a grip on him.
If Martinnis as great as some think,could he not have sorted him out.

Swansea do not seem to like strikers found for them by the recruitment teams. I have read that Yates does not suit Williams s style of play. This sounds a little dubious to me. Gyorkeres did not suit Coopers style. Whittaker did not suit Martins style, Fletcher did not impress Duff and Yates and Myko do not suit Williams.
Lowe suited Cooper and Williams but not Martin. Cullen who is frankly not very good but was rated by everyone. Not so much that they will give him a contract.
Perhaps with Cullen his modest assets fitted in will all managers and just about did enough.
Just enough is not " best in class in all that we do". |  |
