Ahead of our forthcoming game I’m putting together the opening post for our forum’s (One Team in Bristol, https://www.otib.co.uk/?_fromLogin=1) match thread, which will be posted the day before the match.

I can remember being on a football trip in the West Country with a local club in the mid 1970’s, on the way down there we went to watch Bristol City v Birmingham City playing in a league game in the first division, the old top flight.
My lasting memory of that game was the brilliance of Trevor Francis playing for Birmingham City that day.

I know your season is over but we need a couple of things from you
Pearson and his staff need to wind up Martin as much as possible, dont worry about the game, just constantly be at him all afternoon and tell him his hair is s**t but to believe in the process, he'll probably snap by half time and be sent off.
Do you mind if we play cricket instead? Your lads will enjoy the change and it would be better for us since we can go 100-0 ahead and keep some dignity when we still lose. | |
