Probably his best performance for us today. Did all the hard work and you could tell he was gaining in confidence as the game went on. His second goal was proof of that.
I don't think he's going to score bucketloads for us, but if he can manage roughly one in three then that's a handy dozen extra goals on top of Ayew's contribution. |  |

Can’t argue with that logic. I just watched the extended highlights and he had a great ovation in the circumstances (almost empty ground). Thoroughly deserved, I really hope he gets on a good scoring run now. We should be scoring far more as a team the way we’re playing. | |
