I can get a decent playlist from all these overrated bands which just goes to show. Will check out Doves (no definitive article) if they are better, according to some, than Elbow because Elbow is about as up to date as I get. In fact as I get older I find my musical tastes reach back to the 50s and Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Chet Baker often accompany me on trips to Spotland. Anyway I'll throw in Soft Machine who I endured at the Free Trade Hall in about 1971 because I wanted to see Loudon Wainwright who was support. | | | |
