Perhaps those clubs concerned should have thought about any potential repercussions when they ignored reports about abuse at the time or covered up the allegations?
One person who never to seems to be mentioned in this context is Steve Holland who is now number 2 to Gareth Southgate. I'm sure that he was the head of the Crewe academy for a long spell in the 1990's. And footballers I knew in the 1980's mentioned rumours about Gradi.
It will be worrying for the clubs involved as it could ruin them financially....
I have no sympathy for Crewe whatsoever if that happens.
It's only ruining them now because they placed success of the club over protection of vulnerable young men for a number of years, destroying countless lives in the process.

Holland was at Crewe as a coach from early 90's through to late 00 's. Think it must be assumed that he was not involved or aware of what had gone on there to have been appointed to the position he currently holds within the England setup
