New sponsors for Gigg Lane, "record breaking deal".

http://www.burytimes.co.uk/news/15463231.REVEALED__The_new_name_of_Gigg_Lane/

Looks like someone at Bury Times has got their name wrong early doors:
<<"We are delighted to have Energy Checker on board with the club and we are excited for the future.

“It is a great testimony to Matt Caren, Bury FC’s commercial director and Carl Evans, chief executive officer, who have worked very hard on this record breaking deal.">>

Companies House have info on all organisations of course.

The 'Credit Check' stadium would make more sense. No hint of any financial amount relating to the 'record breaking' deal. Quelle surprise.

How many ground sponsors have they had before to compare with this "record-breaking deal"?

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Be nice if the record breaking deal were paid to Bury in their own currency n'est ce pas?

I would have thought that "The reality check stadium " might have had more resonance.

Most of these comments have already been said on one of our Facebook pages by Bury fans but the fact daleys are bothered yet again hardly suprises me, cheques bouncing? Does anybody actually use them or is it a Daley thing?

Daleys pay their bills on time and in full Didds, so you're asking the wrong audience. You must have heard of bouncing cheques - a shysters way to appear to make a payment whilst reneging on your obligations. If it remains unclear, ask your mate Stewie ............... he would appear to have experience in leveraged financial transactions and unpaid bills.

Not sure we are "bothered". More like rubber-necking, watching Rome burn. There was a fiddle involved there too wasn't there?

I've been done twice by none payers in the last 12 years, one a scouser near that hospital Brady was in and one in deeplish , so daleys don't always pay in full 😱

So you know how it feels when customers don't pay up? It's a total tw@ts trick isn't it. Have some thought for the many unpaid creditors of your chairman then, or maybe you're just "not bothered"

If you're not arsed about payment, you can come and do some work for me...
