Its just a ride.

Well we can all see what we need to do. Cut out the silly mistakes and be more clinical. Easier said than done.
Now I'll ask the question, do we go 5-4-1 to shore up our defence, 3-5-2 to put more bodies in the box, or stay as we are when it's not been working for ages?
Maybe we need to try 4-4-2?
Would anybody else change our formation? or stick with it and hope we come good again?

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Don't confuse matters, Monk needs to keep it simple as hes struggling now.

Massively wrong ... I knew in January when we didnt reinforce that we would go down. Jenkins needs to be asked some searching questions.

But Svengali Jenkins brought in Emnes and N'Gog mun.

Oh hang on...

Stick with 4231/433 and actually make sure that players do their f*cking jobs. Don't get centre backs haring forward 5 minutes into the second half against a team who break with pace.

That would be a f*cking start.

We've gone from a blase manager to one with plenty of effort but is lacking in getting the team organised.

F*cking furious again. We make life so hard for ourselves. Lets hope that we get something Tuesday and Sat

Best team lost out there, but if you don't take gilt edged chances and concede stupid goals that's what you get. I'd have taken 4 points clear with 8 games to go though so hardly disastrous and the performance was good overall. Michu needs to get match fit before he's let near the bloody pitch. I just don't get that at all. Probably won't stop the resident tw*t meltdown on here mind. Bring on the Laudyboys.

I'd agree that for periods of that game we were better than them but not overall. We gifted them 3 goals and that tells its own story. The thing is we are not winning any games and they are running out!

I didn't expect anything out of todays game to be honest but its going to be very tight finish and we will see in time if we've got enough. Should we survive we have look at the club and learn from the mistakes made over the last year. A manager is a must as GM is not the answer and the way this all going reminds me so much of Cusack time. I know the circumstances are completely different.

We've got Norwich next week to look forward to and its another home must win game.

Looked really lively at the end

Great to see Michu looking more like it again

Roll on the Arse - feeling optimistic about this one. If Ash can get a goal on target anything is possible.

One less game to go and we remain out of the relegation zone, that's all that matters.

Positives - We played well, were the better team on the day, created loads of chances, scored two good goals and other results went more or less completely the way we'd have wanted them to. And PS seems to be on super slo-mo. Shelvey, Bony, Routledge.

Negatives - Our defence has taken collective leave of its senses and we didn't score from most of the oodles of chances we created. Canas, Chico, Williams, Davies, Rangel.

Playing well and losing is fine in October, it ain't going to cut it in March.

I'm still fecking tamping on the Wubba game. Win that we're pretty much safe and it was in the bag. That's the charge that Garry Monk has to answer. That second half was utterly criminal. Today was what happens to us against this bunch of scouse c**ts. Last week was self harming and Norwich now starts to look a bit like our whole season.

I agree that the defence went walk about during the last 2 goals, but for me the real difference was Everton's "extra player", ie the damned Ref.
He denied us 2 or 3 Penalties and gave them that soft one, I still think Chico got something on the ball.
He gave lot's of other less serious decisions against us as well.

I can always rely on you to make me chuckle in adversity, even if you have turned into Scouse.

It was a definite penalty. Chico made it easy for the ref. Again.

So you're saying the ref favoured the bigger/home club? I don't know if you're new to watching football but that's been going on for as long as I can remember so I don't know why you're surprised.
