Come on guys you are being unfair. This was a good performance just unlucky to give away a free kick where we did. If we are to get anything from our next games then Bertrand and VVD MUST start and Redmond needs to put a curl on his shots. This was actually an enjoyable performance throughout.

Redmond's Inability to swing his left leg from 8 yrds speaks volumes

You're all missing the point, we has nearly two thirds of the possession and twenty shots which was more than twice the number of Burnley. On another day two or three of our five shots on target could go in, I suppose then you'd be moaning that we hadn't got into double figures. There are no easy games in the premiership, you have to grind out the results and sometimes the luck goes with you and sometimes not. Burnley got lucky, we're still a great club with some outstanding players...forget it and let's look forward to a win at the next game.

Dixie - you can excuse fans being a little down, surely? We have lost 4 PL games in a row now, after all. And it's not as if we've been playing the cream of the crop in those games either.

I don't think it's as bad as some (take a look at the DE website if you can bear it!) but there are problems with our squad at the moment. We are too dependent on a handful of players, which is why the rotation isn't working

Thanks DPeps....as a great man said "If it stays as it is I can't see it altering" in other words I think without the introduction of a few new faces, we'll probably see out this season in mid-table mediocrity. We have some great players who simply need a spark to ignite them into action, a January transfer or maybe a lightning bolt from the academy might just hold the key. I'm a glass half full kind of bloke and can't see how constant negativity helps either the players or the Boss, so let's get behind the squad and give them our support, remember no player, team or Boss ever crosses the line with the intention of losing.

Interesting low scores for the midfield! We only talk about replacements for the CBs and forwards but the midfield quality is low and they are the main ones that set up the forwards to score. Perhaps we should be looking at most positions.
