Fair Play To Saints On Semi Final Ticket Prices Saturday, 3rd Dec 2016 10:36 I am often quick to bring Saints to task when they get things wrong with tickets , so it is only fair they be praised for the prices announced for the visit of Liverpool in the EFL Cup semi final. The dates have been announced for the League Cup semi final against Liverpool, Saints will host the Merseyside club on Wednesday 11th January with a 7.45pm kick of and the return leg at Anfield will be two weeks later on Wednesday 25th January at 8pm. Saints have already announced the ticket details for the game at at St Mary's and it is good news for Saints fans with adult tickets being only £20. Prices are £20.00 for Adults Saints should be congratulated for keeping prices low, this has been a busy season for Saints supporters and in addition to the 38 Premier League fixtures by the time we have played Be'er Sheva next week we will already have played an additional 9 fixtures, 6 in the Europa League and 3 in the League Cup. By the time January ends we will have added another 3 to that total and it could be more. This is all expense for Saints supporters and although prices have been kept low in the competitions so far, even those who have attended only the 5 home games from this programme will have paid somewhere near £100 for tickets. So it is good that Saints have recognised this as it would have been very easy to have increased the prices for this game which is perhaps the most important game ever to be played at St Mary's so far. Saints do get it wrong from time to time and sometimes you think they have not put as much thought into ticket arrangements as you would hope, but this time they have got it spot on.
