![]() Monday, 11th Feb 2008 17:56 LFW's look ahead to a full programme of midweek fixtures in the Coca Cola Championship. No sooner have the weekend fixtures finished, we have a full programme of midweek action and yet again, some ludicrous midweek journeys for supporters to make. But following the weekend action, the Championship's Team of the Week is as follows; Paddy Kenny - Sheff Utd Samuel Ricketts - Hull Leon Cort - Stoke Sean St Ledger - Preston Matthew Sadler - Watford Ivan Sproule - Bristol City Mark Fotheringham - Norwich Stephen Clemence - Leicester Liam Lawrence - Stoke Patrick Agyemang - QPR Ched Evans - Norwich Moving swiftly onto the fixtures and a couple of Managers have been in the news for the wrong reasons since the weekend. Bryan Robson is to have talks with Chairman, Kevin McCabe after fans protested after Sheffield United's 0-0 draw at home with Scunthorpe. Things get no easier for Robson as the Blades travel to the Hawthorns to take on second place West Brom. Another Manager, although not as fortunate as Robson, is Iain Dowie who was sacked by Coventry this morning following their defeat at strugglers Preston on Saturday, their 5th in their last six games. Frankie Bunn and John Harbin take charge of the Sky Blues home game with Cardiff City this week. As mentioned above and certainly not for the first time this season and definitely not the last, fans all over the country will be taking time off from their day to day activities to make mammoth midweek journeys to follow their football teams, no more so than Burnley who travel to QPR. The wonderful people at the FA have also sent Preston to Colchester, Hull to Norwich, Barnsley to Plymouth, Bristol City to Scunthorpe, Charlton to Sheffield Wednesday and Southampton to Stoke. Maybe the 'is that all you take away?' chant should be kept quiet tomorrow night... Midweek Championship Fixtures; Blackpool v Wolves Colchester v Preston Coventry v Cardiff C Palace v Ipswich Norwich v Hull Plymouth v Barnsley QPR v Burnley Scunthorpe v Bristol C Sheff Weds v Charlton Stoke v Southampton Watford v Leicester West Brom v Sheff Utd
