Miller makes move Wednesday, 6th Aug 2014 20:18 by Editor If Nottingham Forest had signed a player who played in tangerine from last season (and why they didn't see the potential in Apostolos Velios or Marvin Zeegelaar we'll never know) then we'd have been concerned that such a move would have come back to haunt us on Saturday. Fortunately they didn't but Forest fans may be a bit concerned that we have one of their own in our ranks. Welcome to Bloomfield Road Ishmael Miller., who joins the Seasiders from the City Ground, having been linked with the club for most of the summer.. There had been a fear that Riga's newly assembled squad lacked goals but the 27 year old has a proven record including 10 for Yeovil in 19 appearances last season whilst on loan. The striker was highly rated whilst he was at Manchester City and his price tag of £900,000 before his move to West Brom reflected that. He eventually moved on to Forest but was out of favour under Billy Davies. Miller, who will wear the number 17 shirt next season, confirmed that Jose Riga was a big part in him signing up at Blackpool and hopefully he'll reward him with plenty of goals next season. It means that Blackpool's squad has increased this week by three, but plenty more needs to be done before the weekend's season opener.
