Whilst it's too soon for Scott Wiseman to be nominated, we have selected our shortlist of rightbacks for the best ever Dale XI with voting now opened.

Following Neil Edwards' success in being voted as our best ever goal keeper, we have turned our attention towards the right back position, and following an eppeal on the messageboard, a shortlist has been put together which covers fifty years of Dale.

The shortlist put forward is:

• Graham Smith
• Paul Hallows
• Andy Thackeray
• Wayne Evans
• Wayne Goodison 

The poll is listed somewhere down the right hand side of this page, and it couldn't be easier to have your say. A thread exists on the messageboard which currently carries memories of various Dale right backs.
