A member of the coaching staff told me that when he was pulled up for his timekeeping he said that he struggled to get up in the morning. So it was a dodgy alarm clock, apparently. |

Had some great times at St Helens, both rugby but especially cricket. Since Glamorgan decided to become cardiff cricket club there is no point in protecting that heritage, as much as I hate saying it. |

Not at all, I cannot remember Rangel going ‘willy nilly’! He advanced with purpose and cover. Whatever level of football, you set out your game plan and contingency. At the end of the day it’s all about players ability and how they execute that game plan. |

Dear me gents, the whole purpose of playing full backs is that they get up in support of the winger.
Great example of that is Angel & Dyer, a constant threat for the opposition. We also have a similar set up, when fit, albeit on a different level, on both sides. All we need now is a centre forward and a late arriving 10 to compliment that threat.

What was the point of bringing in two wingers in January if we haven’t got a centre forward capable of getting on the end of crosses. If, for whatever reason, Mykola wasn’t fancied, why didn’t they try and send him out on loan and bring someone in.
Watching cross after cross being dealt with, by and large, easily by opposition defences, it strikes me that we just run out of ideas when that doesn’t work.

I can’t see Page lining up with anything other than five at the back with two defensive midfielders in front (Ampadu/James) with Wilson at ten and either Johnson/Brooks with Moore.
The lineup I’d love to see though:

We had two right backs available and he picked a centre half in that position, which is baffling. Still not convinced by Williams, took him 6/7 games to work out that three at the back doesn’t work and a few more to realise that Fulton/Grimes is not a good partnership in the middle.
In addition he’s left our 6’4” centre forward out of the match day squad when we have, at last, pace out wide. Cullen and Yates are not known for their aerial ability and we are limiting our options. |

That first half was as bad as Southampton las Saturday, but Bournemouth were more clinical. I wouldn’t say we were slow, but I’m sure our centre halves were wearing divers boots. |
