The similarities with bury are staggering. Two fanbases who were told by a deluded owner that they are a big club and deserve success when in reality they’re really, really not. They’re a nothing club that has tumbled down the leagues because they are a basket case and I can’t wait to see it go tits up.

The rumours at the time about them cheating to get to the Premier League also rings a bell. Not only did they have an unfair advantage with that pathetic plastic pitch, but apparently lots of brown envelopes were being passed around. That penalty that won them promotion is a classic example.

Pretty much my thoughts too. Some people have had it in for McNulty from day one and can’t wait to let us know after a defeat. They then come on here and whinge when people don’t agree with them but they are nowhere to be seen after a win.
