| News Comment | Lacklustre QPR grateful to Green for Yeovil win — report at 08:37:55
I'm going to be the dissenter here!!!! I went to Yeovil and, yes, Yeovil pressed hard but R's were in control of this match. Green made 3or 4 top class saves but you would expect most 'keepers in most away games to have to earn their crust, and Rob Green did. Dunne, Hill and Simpson were outstanding and given that so many others lacked fitness, it was always going to be a case of defending well AND RANGERS DID THAT SUPERBLY. What is needed is for Charlie Austin to get some striking support....when that happens teams will not be able to impose their style (if you can call it that). For now R's record is brilliant. to concede just 2 in 8 games is not bettered anywhere in any league....So lets have glasses half full and not half empty....PLEEEEEEEEEAZE. Come on you R's |
| News Comment | How's your luck? QPR nab Burnley striker Austin at 14:37:53
I live close to Poole and watched Charlie Austin for his last season there. He was clearly miles ahead of anyone in that league and why QPR didn't pick him up from there beggars belief....hopefully we do scout in the lower leagues now?? Anyway, even at that level he didn't stop working and running and he had a real terrier type attitude, And, he always seemed to be in the right place....a top finisher...we shall see....let's hope so. |
