| Forum Thread | Next 6 games at 12:48 3 Nov 2015
Our next 6 games are huge in my opinion especially against Hull, Sheff W and Brighton all these are on as good as a run as we are on. Naturally the Forest match you can throw form out of the window and then we have QPR tonight and then Cardiff who are hit and miss at the moment I would be happy with 10 points from the 18 on offer |
| Forum Thread | Warncok wages at 11:05 12 Jan 2015
I here we are looking at signing Warnock now I have connections at work with people involved with Leeds and it is believed he is one of the top earners at the club. Estimated he is on £40,000 pw which in my opinion he is no way worth that amount or we should be offering anywhere near that amount. i'm sure none of our players are near that amount at all, I may be wrong but the way the club has been run financially over the last 4 years find it hard to believe we would throw that amount of money at a 33 year old Don't get me wrong I'm sure his experience could help us in our push for promotion but surely getting him on loan with a view to a perm deal should we go up would make more sense. |
| Forum Thread | Luck with Injuries at 15:50 24 Jul 2014
George Thorne could be out for upto 9 months, terrible news or is this going to be a season when we struggle due to our lack of depth in the squad. I believe a team is successful if you can keep your team injury free which is why last season we were so successful, the majority of the time we had the same team week after week. I hope this isn't a sign that this season may be different and unless we have more cover for key positions we may end up being a mid table team. I don't know which players we are still hoping to acquire or for what position but fingers crossed we have other things in the pipeline |
| Forum Thread | Bryson signs yeahhhhhhh at 16:45 3 Jul 2014
5 year deal done and dusted well the club are serious now for some new signings |
| Forum Thread | Bryson at 09:45 1 Jul 2014
So now it has come to light that the £750,000 clause isn't allowing clubs to talk to him but actually the value he can be sold for. In my opinion for that kind of money why not keep him for next season even if it means losing him for nothing at the end of the season, if having him in the side helps us gain promotion then it's well worth the risk. He will then have his time in the premiership as every player wants, there is no way we would be able to bring someone in to fill such a huge gap it would leave for anything near £750,000 even with Thorne we still should be doing everything possible to keep him at the club. |
| Forum Thread | Time for board to deliver at 09:20 30 May 2014
So with season ticket sales nearing the 20,000 mark and the steady progression on the field with limited resources next season the board has to show its intent on giving the manager the funds to enable the side to push for automatic promotion. Saying we are happy to be in the play offs is not showing enough ambition, it isn't going to take much but key players have to be brought in as we were very lucky with injuries which probably wont happen for a 2nd season. The fans are backing the players and the club now is the time for the board to do the same and show it's real intent on and vision as to wanting to compete in the best league in the world. |
| Forum Thread | Sheff Wed postponent make no sense at 15:58 27 Jan 2014
So we are now playing the game on the 18th because they would rather play Charlton now on the 15th. How does that make business sense we would take 5,000 plus on a Sat now on a Tues poss 1,500 - 2,000, Charlton will prob be lucky to 500 on the Sat. Just makes no sense what so ever |
| Forum Thread | Brayford at 09:58 27 Aug 2013
So he hasn't even got on the pitch yet, I wonder if he now wishes he had stayed with us. Far too good of a player to be warming the bench |
| Forum Thread | Russell at 13:39 3 Jun 2013
It would appear he has signed and will be anounced shortly sorce within the club £950,000 is the figure |
| Forum Thread | I wonder at 13:27 25 Oct 2012
Should we continue to progress from now until the end of the year would now be the season when we might see some investment put into the team. Surely the board want to see Premiership football return to Pride Park |
| Forum Thread | Nothing Less then 3 Pts tonight at 16:04 18 Sep 2012
Massive game tonight a draw or Loss would be disasterous in my opinion. Easy to say it's early doors but there is no signs of any consistency which to me is worrying. |
| Forum Thread | Theo bid accepted at 15:59 31 Aug 2012
A bid of £1.25m has been accepted from a championship club personnel terms being thrashed out as we speak |
| Forum Thread | Here we go again at 14:31 22 Aug 2012
So yet again Nigel comes out with the comment we didn't deserve what happened at Bolton. Well if you fail to take your chances and kill the game off then your opponents will always have a spell in the game the diff is they know how to put the ball in the net. |
| Forum Thread | Hudd in for Tyson at 14:05 17 Aug 2012
Strong rumour he is wanted my Huddersfield, No great loss but that's another striker we could be down doesn't make sence at all No doubt will bring another defender in to balance the books |
| Forum Thread | Nigel Clough's comments at 12:55 15 Aug 2012
Derby County manager Nigel Clough tells BBC Radio Derby his side's bizarre Capital One Cup penalty shoot-out exit at the hands of Scunthorpe after a 5-5 draw was down to a combination of naive defending and wayward finishing. Well being 3 nil and 4 - 1 up how can you blame wayward finishing yes you can question the defence but why not be honest that the team just wasn't good enough and yet again failure to buy quality players and let go your rock in the heart of the defence leave is the true cause. Get real Mr Clough stop making excuses and hiding behind the board speak the truth just like your great father would of done. |
| Forum Thread | Michael Tonge at 10:41 31 Jul 2012
Maybe nothing but apparantly we are looking to bring him back to PP I hope it's true I rated him. |
| Forum Thread | Forest linked with Clough at 12:02 13 Jul 2012
I Have been told that Forest have enquired about the availablility on Nigel Clough becoming there manager not sure of any truth in this but it wouldn't surprise me with his fathers links. Open chq book would really prove how good a manager he is with no hold backs from the board on player restictions. Watch this space |
| Forum Thread | Same Pattern Unfolding at 12:59 11 Jun 2012
Well it would appear yet again our better players are being linked with other clubs, some who we are happy to let leave and some who if the offer is good enough will follow. The club has stated we don't need to sell now what if not one player was to leave would the club still be in a position to bring in players as they have identified the arreas this needs to happen. I doubt it and they are relying on players leaving to generate a transfer kitty yes I know that's the way clubs run but if we are ever going to be serious contenders for promotion then your better players need to stay at the club Our spine of the side in Davies, Green and Shackell could all be gone come the start of the season is this really the way forward of a club with ambition well NO I hope I'm wrong but I a familiar pattern is unfolding yet again. |
| Forum Thread | Shackall at 11:36 23 May 2012
I still see he is on the radar for some teams and it wouldn't surprise me if a bid of £2 million was to be made he will be sold. |
| Forum Thread | Davies at 09:11 22 May 2012
So Davies leaving due to family reason and a £1 million transfer fee well if we were bringing in a striker anyway which would of cost money surely with the Davies fee on top there is no reason why the club can't spend big on a quality signing. This will tell how ambitious the club really is this time around we have put up with too many lets fill the gaps players who don't bring anything to the team who are cheap. |
