| News Comment | Everything but the goal – Report at 18:59:13
The 'boys' did good, they all worked proper hard, every one of them. I expected a beating even after a fair team performance at Cardiff. Tough to pick a key man, the goalie, back 4, Field, Smyth & Saiko were good on the day. Between Field & Dunne for me. Thought Celar was back to normal (poor) but had two decent efforts which could have been winners. Varane done well when he arrived on the pitch. Pleasing three games in my book. |

Very interesting write up Norf, very close to my thoughts as well. It has made me decide to have a couple of quid on a QPR win - thanks. CYA later. |
| News Comment | Prestige performance puts QPR back in the hunt - Report at 08:09:13
That was a 'proper, proper' team performance out there on Saturday. After a shaky start we moved into gear and slowly started to play, some of our football in the 2nd half was very good indeed. We missed a lot of good chances and should have won comfortably. That passing and move video, which i saw on Saturday was proper 'top dollar', not easy in such a tight space and one touch - it all needs to be perfect - Willock should have scored at the end of it too. Very impressive and what a bit of confidence gives to the players. Impressive performance, thought you could have given 2 or 3 of them better marks actually. |

You are not talking shite Norf, you are right in many, many of the things you write above(you cant be right on everything!!!).........we were not brave enough for the occasion on Saturday, the first goal blamed on Kakay, by many, was a team effort in conceding. The second, yes, leading to the corner was not good, but the keeper should eat those up all day - it is not his first bad mistake either. Games like that you need to be strong and powerful but many were not. Sign a couple (forward) in January we should still be OK because I feel some of the players currently in the squad are good enough to turn things around with the help of the Manager & Coach. |

I have 'time' for the new Manager as well Norf, he has something and if he is given a 'few quid' in January then we will get even better & get more consistent. Saints a tough game, for sure, but not sure we should write us off against a better than average Championship side. |
| News Comment | The QPR is strong in this one – Report at 09:33:02
Not far off the mark Norf, Plymouth did exceptionally well over the 90 minutes. We would have been very proud of our team if they played like that. |

Yea good chat Norf. They all did a job, even our No9 where I agree with you about doing a good job and not scoring - I can have that with a few goals. Play like we did for the final 45 minutes and we will be in the top half, with these players - some of whom are decent. With a couple of new boys in the January transfer window and play like we did in the 2nd half then 'who knows' where we will end up. The manager has only been here a very short while, he has a lot of ideas, he has started very well and played a massive part in our last two matches - we may have a proper manager here. |
| News Comment | "Football is about achieving, not deserving" - Preview at 16:40:40
JCS, Willock (if fit) & Cannon should get starts tonight.......amazing what a win does to the team.....its an improving team in my book. Could have been a bit more positive Norf, that was the/our best night for a year!!! I thought we didn't do too bad, I know Stoke were not good, down to 10 and our expectations are low, but we drove forward despite being 2-1 down, we were positive as we could be and the Manager appears to be well focused in the right way. Who knows if we will get anything from the game but the oppositions are not anything special. |
| News Comment | Chair's brilliance starts Cifuentes off with a point - Report at 09:00:24
A far better overall performance against an average team, we kept the ball better and although we gave it away a lot we tried to keep it more which is a big bonus. I think we could have defended their goal a bit better. I like what I have seen of the Manager thus far. And more importantly the players appear to like his ways too. Keep players fit, sign a couple in January and we will be safe, 100%. |
| News Comment | As good as we've got? Report at 09:01:42
They cant even pass a ball from A to B.....I could not believe it, its shocking. It was a dire performance indeed and some of the stuff that went on by the players were 'proper, proper' poor. Leeds were 'bang' average too. Best player, Clark-Salter, was a main failure in the Leeds goal, he 'ball watched' and came across to the right far too much and gave the attacker so much time & space to slot home. His positioning was 'piss poor'. I am not a particular fan of VAR but at least it assists officials on tight calls (not always byt often more than not), and, heck, they need help a lot of the time. |
| News Comment | Clunky QPR left to settle for Swans stalemate - Report at 08:26:34
I think Chair edged MoM, he worked his socks off all night, he did not hide for one minute, sent a few good crosses in with the last an assist, a committed Ranger. Agree the Field, Paal & Smith were our better players too. Perhaps I'm going soft but I think a couple of them, one being Kakay, deserved a bit better mark. As for Kellman, did very little at all - not sure that he is good enough!!! Tough to mark players Norf and always going to be questioned. A game we should have won, for sure, we just got to start being more clinical in the final 3rd. Well done to LD, smart header. |

Nice report, brilliant watch, I'd have given MOM to Sam Field.....tight call though. A proper team performance that we should be delivering every week, not always winning but always competing. |

We both thought, Norf, early season if we could keep the first 11 fit we would do ok this season....sadly whilst we have had so many injuries(!!) I thought we would have scored better and still been mid table. Football eh, you just never know however much we think we know about the game and however many games of football we watch QPR play. As you know I am most positive but I am beginning to turn......play well and we could get something from the game. |
| News Comment | Relief - Preview at 08:42:03
I, too, had a great weekend Norf.....Saturday was proper football, proper enjoyable, proper everything!!! - we are not good enough to play football at the back, just get the fooking thing up top and get players up there too & work until you drop. Much more enjoyable IMHO. Saturday night in the pub, Sunday morning watching the boys play - best weekend for many, many weeks. I want more - RELIEF. Play like that at B'pool and a happy trip for the R's is forthcoming. |
| News Comment | QPR make their Carrow Road point — Report at 09:36:54
You made the correct call re the MOM Norf, tough call but right - well done!! I also thought our two weakest players were Amos and Dozzell. Overall a 'proper' team performance. Next 3 games are important imho. |
| News Comment | Nothing in the manual - Preview at 15:58:08
My view is that MB will not leave QPR.......I think he believes that he has gotten something here that are near ready for Premiership, maybe not this season but soon and I think that the signs that he gives means that he wants to be here to build a 'proper' team for the Premier league. I also think that he has a decent relationship with the players, Les & Hoos & has an affiliation with them. I think also he is looking forward to seeing the new training ground finished and 'up & running'. Just my view and the way I see it by seeing him talk at many different times. I hope that I am right because if he goes he will leave a large hole to be filled. |
