Can someone please tell me... 23:52 - Oct 2 with 6795 views | justanillusion | ...wether a guy who has appeared only this season in the T.D.S stand has some form of tourettes? tonight he was sat in row O approx seat 67(for the first half only - thank god!), normally sits forward a few rows, the bloke has a tash. He persists in shouting abusive language at the ref and players constantly during play and tonights racial abuse of Bradfords black players was something ive not seen since the seventies - if this middle aged guy reads this forum can i advise him to seek help/up his medication....you are embarrassing !! and i deplore the way you act amongst Dale fans young and old!
Can someone please tell me... on 08:53 - Oct 3 with 4708 views | judd | There was some guy sat on the back row in the block next to the former family enclosure hurling abuse from the very first minute to the last at Coleman. Everything was his fault, even Grant's despicable challenge and the mangy fox hurtling through both teams late on. And the pimply youth who sits in seat U122 calling the Bradford player who got booked for raising his arm a "black b******" really showed his true form and class. Even when challenged by several fans he repeated "well he is - what fookin' colour is he?"

He should of been, should he of? Do you know how many times he and his lot have been reported? The club does absolutely FOOK ALL about them. Among a list of reported incidents, last season was a smashed chair that just missed my child's head. Stewards escorted him out but guess what - back to continue annoying the rest of the stand ad infinitum, ad nauseum, you can of your pick. The prick was shouted down by a number of other fans immediately around him. That was at least heartening.

Can someone please tell me... on 10:52 - Oct 3 with 4526 views | MoonyDale | I was told last night of an incident at the last home game, at the end of the match after we had surrendered that 2 goal lead one of our fans walked out of the Sandy and witnessed a couple of out supporters abusing 2 opposition fans. He said that he had never witnessed such vile and shocking abuse being hurled at these fans, the abuse was pertaining to the weight of the couple, he followed them as they walked to their coach and witnessed them taking the abuse without retaliating. he then told our fans he would be reporting them to the club and he got on their coach and apologised on the clubs behalf, he then reported the incident to the club and to Mr Dunphy himself, it seems we have idiot fans at both ends of the ground who would be better served sodding off and doing something else on match days. These dale fans were adults not kids and being a rather large well built chap myself I would have loved to met these scrotes leaving the ground.

Did you actually see them yourself Tazzy? The reason I ask is that I walk home that way from the match every home game and I can assure you that they weren't Bradford fans at all and where in fact the usual bunch of younger Rochdale fans that normally frequent the TDS stand and they are always down there at the roundabout after every game looking for trouble.

Its always the same usual knuckle draggers who amazingly enough are always exactly where any trouble is but its never their fault?! My last visit in the tds was against fleetwood and a group of chimps towards the bottom right of the stand as youre sat where a total embarrassment and singing ridiculous songs all game, all 6 of them and a kid in tow!!Its the exact same bunch who hang around outside the church staring at everyone after the match. As sad as it sounds id love a decent size group of opposition fans to confront them to give them a little wake up call, how they're still allow in the ground baffles me even more.

It was them fans that were stood at the roundabout. They were sat down the bottom infront of me and my son. They are idiotic morons. One chant they came up with was 'your just a town full of p####'s' My lad heard it and was gobsmacked. We passed them on Spotland road and he asked what they were doing, so I told him, I think it put him off ever being a football hooligan if you turn into one of them trogladites. We don't need 'fans' like that, all half dozen of them.

Can someone please tell me... on 16:34 - Oct 3 with 4125 views | JumeirahDale | Arf. I remember one of them coming on here back in the old Rivals days and telling us that we should be thankful, becaause they were protecting the rest of us against similar thugs from opposition teams. It was probably the funniest post that has ever appeared on here.

Can someone please tell me... on 22:45 - Oct 3 with 3900 views | dalenumber2 | No the fan in question does not have tourettes just a severe case of pig-ignorance. It is a sad fact that there are still some people who are lacking in basic humanity. I don't know him but surely the majority of us half-decent types can get something done about this sort of behaviour. If the stewards won't challenge him, it's poor. Racism in football has been in the news a lot recently - there is no reason we should tolerate it on the pitch or on the terraces. Would the stewards and club really turn a blind eye if it is reported?

The only time I've sat it in the TDS this year (I'm a Sandyman) was v Fleetwood and you're spot on about those idiots at the bottom right of the stand. The amusing thing is that there's a couple of adults (and I use that term loosely) that associate with the group as well. Morons.

It's not just the 'yoof' we need to be concerned about, it's also the racist and bitter and twisted bigots that are spouting forth their hatred in the terraces.

I Totally agree with some of your comments about those idiots that go to dale but i carnt make judgement on them as i do not attend matches at spotland. I Dont agree with what they do as in my opinion football hooligenisum went out with the arc. I Remember the guvs at city in the late 70s and early 80s but you dont see anything like that now as times have changed and football has moved on. I Went to the dortmund game at the etihad last night and the dortmund fans were inpecabley well behaved it was a credit to them. I Took one of your idiots with me no name mentioned and he was extremally helpfull and well behaved infact i was proud of him so if he can do it at city why not at dale so come on lads respect your club and supporters we dont need this in football anymore

Totally agree with you. However, the problem I have is that the only person on this thread who appears to need convincing that such behaviour should not be tolerated and covered-up is the very person you defend the most.

Can someone please tell me... on 19:13 - Oct 4 with 3403 views | KenBoon | And you know what, if any of these morons makes the news for their vile it'll be all our names dragged through the mud. Banter is good. Giving the officials stick can be fun (with reason and within boundaries) but there is nothing creative or clever in outright volleys of hate. I include the 'witty banter' that is homophobia in this too. 2012 and quite frankly its embarrassing. Oh and any 'adult' who encourages a child to break the law wants locking up. Whilst i'm on a rant, the club (all clubs in fact) need to control drunk fans being allowed into the ground. Not only are they often obnoxious and annoying, but they're also a safety hazard. I've seen some fans be absolutely plastered but apparently let in because a slightly less intoxicated mate will look after them. Stewards at many grounds seem to have a zero tolerance on standing (which is good when they're blocking other peoples views) but it's fine to be a racist, foul mouthed, vicious, unimaginative drunk homophobe who spends all their time upsetting those around them. Don't kill atmospheres, the natural passion or humour many clubs like ours are based on, but do remove the unimaginative nasty element, they entertain nobody but themselves and other morons.
