Sulemana 14:18 - Jan 13 with 3574 views | PatfromPoole | Sorry, I’m not buying it. He played yesterday against a scuffling Championship side which had its best two CB’s out injured. He found his level. If anybody is interested in signing him this month, we should snap their hands off. He did very little for us in the Championship last season.

Sulemana on 14:52 - Jan 13 with 2878 views | TimSaint | Incredibly lazy player with a bad attitude. He has been dining off that end of season Liverpool performance for 20 months now !! Failed to score in the Championship last season and only mustered a few assists (Leeds x 2, Blackburn x 1 from memory) in what was an injury prone and very poor season for him. Has done nothing with his opportunities to impress this season in the Prem, so a decent performance (goal and assist) against a mid-table Champ side shows only a small sign of improvement in my book.

Sulemana on 16:19 - Jan 13 with 2712 views | saint901 | He strikes me as a confidence player who can play well when he's on a high. The sort who needs an arm around him rather than a kick up the backside. And the problem is that we need players who play when they manager wants them to, not when they want to.

He did play well and I don't think there's been too much negativity towards him (well not for Sunday's performance), but he's not Prem standard which is what really counts for us right now There is also talk of him moving so is he playing his balls out looking for a decent move? Let's see what happens at Manure on Thursday - if he's picked!

Most of what you say Sir makes sense, but come on praise where praise is due SURELY??
Sulemana on 18:32 - Jan 13 with 2475 views | felly1 | Agreed, although i do wonder if he'd be more effective down the right side, rather than having to stop and check back onto his right foot when he's out on the left. Highly likely either way he's not good enough but credit where its due he was good in the first half yesterday.
Sulemana on 18:53 - Jan 13 with 2437 views | grumpy | He is very quick,he recorded 35.7 kilometers mph(22 mph) while playing for Ghana against Uruguay. I understand peoples reservations about him,but he has impressive pace.

He undeniably had a good game yesterday. I will start being much more generous with praise when he does it in Prem games for us.

You along with most on this site are never happy unless your Fkin moaning . You crucify anything and everything . Its the manager , the team , the player , the crowd , the owners or the Fkin tea lady . Even when a certain player has a good game , its because it was against a lower standard team in your opinion . The bloke had a good game , whether it was against Swansea or Fkin AFC TOTTON. he had a good game FFS

I’ll have to check my posts to see if I criticised the tea lady, but I dare say you’re right, sir. It’s fairly obvious that he had a good game due to it being against a lesser team, as he never plays like that in the Prem. I wish it wasn’t the case, but alas it is so.

He played very well tonight. Put himself in the shop window. I think we could feasibly sell him this month and get our money back on him. Which would be a real bonus. I would sell him now. He is a bad hamstring injury waiting to happen.

My reply had no mention of Sulemana and was to you calling people out for being negative and moaning about everything. I was curious to hear your views of the season as I struggle to see how anyone who supports us can be positive and happy with how things are. What part of that did you not understand?

Sulemana on 09:36 - Jan 17 with 740 views | Flamingbankers | Sulemana was the best Saints player on the pitch last night. Credit where credit's due. He had the Utd right-back on toast most of the game. It shows he can perform to Prem standards even though he was probably showcasing. Utd can compete with any team on their day, as shown recently against Liverpool and Man City, but Saints were the dominant team in the first half and frankly should have gone in at the break two or three goals to the better. Yet we just haven't got the players or the consistency or the killer instinct to compete at this level. Last night's first half at least showed what is possible - which has to be encouraging, to some extent, to me at least. Juric has changed Sulemana in a few games and credit has to go to Juric as well - a proper manager showing what we've missed this season. Sulemana's performance was genuinely exciting and if he can continue that in a Saints shirt that's brilliant. OK, he hasn't proved his consistency yet, and needs to get his head sorted out, but if we lose him, it'll be a very long time before we find a better player. Edozie is half the player. Saints were terrific in the first half last night but were effectively doomed once Dibling had to go off and this handed over the impetus to Utd, particularly Amad who KWP just couldn't cope with. We should have doubled up on that side, Taylor would have been a better option in that position with KWP or Manning moved up. [Post edited 17 Jan 9:38]

Exactly this. Juric is getting the best out of Sulemana and him and Dibling look a force up front. It's nice to witness an 'edge of your seat game' where we bossed the play for most of it.
