Typical Rangers
From being by far the worst team in the league to , in current form, being one of the most decent in the league.
This has happened on multiple occasions in our past and especially the last five or six seasons.
When can we get it all together throughout a whole season. Was this coming or is confidence such a massive factor in modern day football.
My personal view re the clubs upturn.
Yes some players been adjusting to the league, but I think Marti is the key and the development of group togetherness within the squad is so much better than the last couple of seasons.

There has been a slight change in tactics. A little mpre pragmatic and a little less total football.
Plus a few of the new players settled into the Championship. Varane being the most obvious, but Morgan, Morriosn and Saito deserve honourable mentions.

This. Especially with our team. It amazes me how much a factor this is - we have been so, so brittle in the past. One defeat setting off a run of defeats, which have been nothing to do with bad luck; just abysmal, abject performances. Even in the middle of "good runs" we chuck out a Stoke (a), Hull (a) last season and a Derby (a), Pompey (h), Swansea (a) and first halves against Oxford (h) and Bristol C (a) which are as bad as anything and yet we start picking up points.
Just goes to show the low quality in this league. Probably why Sheff W are only 3 points off the playoffs currently and Millwall are as high up the league as they are. Even Oxford, who chucked out one of the worst performances I seen at this level against us are now FIVE points above the line.
But that was a really good performance today. Got in control with a strong, physical first half and just when you think we have gifted Watford a way back in from Smyth's only aberration of the day, we go straight back up there and score.
Its the gap between us at our best and us at our worst that will baffle everyone - there is a MASSIVE gulf. |  |

By passing the midfield and mostly going long. More emphasis on set plays. Playing two 'destroyers' in central midfield;, Field and Varane. Both wingers are actually tracking back and doubling up.
It's not pretty or attractive football, but it is effective. I just prefer to watch good football, and this isn't. Needs must, though I suppose.

I think we have changed our tactics since the international break, it was much more of a 4-2-3-1 start of the season since the break its more 4-1-4-1 / 4-3-3 with the 10 role deeper in this new fangled 8/10 and the left winger been given freedom to move into ten when attacking. We've become very right side focused with the ball and very solid without it. We've also had a bit of a luck both in game terms and discovering that an 18 and 19 year old who were very much "fringe" at the start of the season have become important key players. |  | | |

We are Queens Park Rangers and these type of runs are as good as it gets at this particular club.

It was a good performance and win today. I have long complained about our home record and it seems we are sorting it out. Very pleasing to beat a team today in the play off picture. However, at the same time as the home form is picking up, we don't now look so good away and don't have many shots on goal to trouble the home team. I appreciate we did pick up two points in the last three away games but offensively we offered very little goal threat in each game. I guess I want us to be good home and away at the same time rather than it being one or the other. |  | | |
