West London Sport 13:52 - Jan 20 with 43235 views | QPRSteve | Anyone know what's going on at WLS? No report on the new CEO and now nothing on the Dozzel move. Dave McIntyre seems to be very quiet at the moment. Is he OK?
West London Sport on 12:32 - Sep 25 with 2966 views | DavieQPR | Imagine it.s a case of WLS prioritising expenses as the printed media is struggling everywhere. Their contact within the club more than likely left in the 'Great Purge' and they are just left with a stone.

I was uncomfortable with an anonymous account registered to a similarly generic email address appearing from nowhere and bouncing up old threads to post personal details/questions/comments about various QPR media/coms people. |
He's not Nick London is he?

I don't think it's as simple as the contact at the club left, Dave Mc and Ian have been getting stories on QPR for decades with various different boards, managers, coaches etc, one or 2 people leaving last summer wouldn't make much of a difference
West London Sport on 16:45 - Sep 25 with 2308 views | stevec | Well this is an absolute disaster then. What we desperately need is our own message board, a hundred or so contributors and a tame journalist to keep us in line. Any ideas?
West London Sport on 16:45 - Sep 25 with 2312 views | Pdog | Shame as i quite enjoyed the reviews / build-up chats with K Gallen on their youtube channel. There's something about an actual ex-pro giving their insight that holds a bit more gravitas (if articulated well enough).

Indeed, would imagine it’s a pretty simple case that the employees need to make a living from it and QPR stories and match reports probably don’t even cover the costs of creating them.

Indeed, he was. To his eternal credit, upon doing so in person, DT kept his counsel. A most unsavoury and tawdry period even by our standards.

There are many wonderful idiosyncrasies and 'only at QPR' things about following our lovely little club. The weird, often creepy, sometimes quite stalkerish, behaviour you face if you commit the heinous crime of... doing a podcast, publishing a fanzine, writing match reports, commentating on games, writing for the local paper etc is sadly one of the less wonderful ones.

Definitely true on Dave Mc - related to my other post about working at Ceefax in the late 90s, even all the way back then he was sending in great snippets about Rangers to the sports desk that nobody else had.

Not much the wiser! So he outed himself to DT (as in Kick Up The R's?) who chose not to share it? I can't really remember the details now, except that he was being a complete arse and was possibly unhinged. [Post edited 25 Sep 19:59]

I may be incorrect, but didn't that turn out to be our favourite "not missed a home game in 50 years" man? Memory may have gone here.

Before my time !! But my interest has been piqued. (if that's the right word). Sounds like was extremely dodgy, so best left in the past. Can't remember when I signed up here - is it possible to find out ?? [Post edited 26 Sep 10:41]
