Saint Sturgeon not coming across very well in the enquiry.
She has done Scotland a huge disservice when she was first minister. Scottish NHS collapsed, education system which was the best in the UK is now terrible. High deaths due to drug abuse in Europe. Life expectancy in Glasgow worse than some parts of Africa.

Finally the people of Scotland have realised the SNP single policy of independence has been a disaster for Scotland.

Sounds about the same as Wales.

Struck me today as clever but visibly slippery. She did better than I thought she would, but there were weak spots: claiming that Gold Command was not about command, despite the widespread use of that word by attendees; saying no decisions were taken by Gold despite accidentally using that word once or twice; looking implausible when denying that she often expected her view to be the last word; saying that COVID policy was not being used to suggest the benefits of independence despite a contradictory cabinet minute; and admission that a fib was told over deletion of WhatsApp messages.

And large parts of England, outcomes and life expectancy in parts of the North East, North West and Midlands are much much lower than places like Westminster and other affluent areas of the South East.

It seems to me that COVID was used as a test to see how much governments can manipulate and control the public. The results are now being used to screw us all on a daily basis.

Talking of COVID, surely all those MPs who gave contracts for PPE (PPE that was faulty)to their mates should be up before a judge.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

As far as I'm aware all organizations to levels of Command have always been Gold Silver Bronze . She lied prior to her turn in the hot seat stating that all whatsapp messages would be available for scrutiny , o how the mighty fall, only I hope she still has further to fall

Voted in time after time by the Scottish people.

More integrity than your Tory mates Johnson and Rishi who somehow lost their WhatsApps.
Comrade Nicola says everything is recorded as you would expect and available to audit - and not on WhatsApp.

(Good day today with Michelle O’Neill fulfilling her election mandate in the north of Ireland. I am sure you will agree).

Still no charges for Nicola. …?

So how come the claim is that vaccines eradicated diseases if they actually didn't. Did we have some vaccines that were intended to eradicate the diseases and some that weren't?

Seems a very strange strategy to me. Did we have a choice of which to eradicate and which not too? Why not just eradicate them all and be done with it?

Yes. Not all vaccines are designed to eradicate disease.

The initial aim for the covid vaccines were just to stop so many people dying. It was never designed to eradicate the disease or prevent transmission - and nobody with legitimate authority ever claimed they could.

A virus that evolves as quickly as Covid / Flu cannot be eradicated, just its impact lessened. Smallpox was and measles could be.

Yes they are, it was said it would prevent transmission. The experts were quite clear on this.

Nope.

One article says reduce transmission, the other says cut by half.

The one in the guardian states the vaccine has done the job in reducing deaths.

Exactly as I said.

The claim was to reduce transmission ,ie cases, it didn’t, lockdowns did that. Get the jab to save granny is a claim that it was expected to prevent transmission.

Lockdowns did nothing but kick the can down the road. The only measure with actual, provable, demonstrable effect was vaccination.

Obviously the morons who hang on Russell Brand's every words will argue otherwise, but they're easily identifiable and ignored. Or mocked, which is more fun to be honest.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Not Covid, but Moderna have developed an MRNA vaccine which is being used to target some of the most difficult cancers to treat. Trials underway. Great news.

Lockdown obviously reduced transmission, but is completely unsustainable.

Transmission during and out of lockdown is not comparable.

The vaccines got us out of lockdown by saving lives and reducing (not preventing) transmission. Nobody ever claimed they prevented transmission in any official capacity.
