I probably wouldn't, but easier said than done. The fans ought to boycott the game. If they turn up the gates will be open for the TV companies to do whatever they want to suit viewers from all over the world I see Chelsea's fan club or whatever are trying to have disussions with the EPL about it but not getting anywhere

Christmas Eve is better than Boxing Day.
At least there are trains.
I personally hate Boxing Day games, never go to them.
The Boxing Day game was always a traditional thing and up till 1958/59 season we played games on Xmas Day and Boxing Day, back then you would play a side home or away on Xmas Day and then the fixture would be reversed on Boxing Day.
For me the Boxing Day game was always a biggie as a teenager I would go to see Liverpool or sometimes Everton play, ( I didn't see Saints on a Boxing Day until 1987) and across the country the Boxing Day game was always the biggest attendance.
Back then trains ran on Boxing Day across the country.

I quite like a boxing day game, bit of a tradition.
However with youngish kids christmas eve feels a bit sacrilegious.

Nick, I think of you as a dear friend and hold you in the highest esteem.
I enjoy our debates on this highly engaging forum.
But I don’t think you ceased to be a teenager in 1987…..

Mind you we have family birthdays Christmas Eve, Christmas day and Boxing day and I think that two tickets to see Saints is not really regarded as a proper gift these days.
