Tranmere (H) 18th March 2023 - Match Thread 11:06 - Apr 18 with 30929 views | Dale_4_Life | Big Jim fluffed his lines second half v Bradford. Tonight there should be no pressure. Stop the idiotic short goal kicking that nobody wants or enjoys. Play some attacking football in the oppostion half. When play opens up be direct, drive towards goal and get some shots off with venom, ideally on target and follow the shot in with agressive hunting / forward play. Be tenacious for 90 minutes - run through walls and collapse on your knees at FT. More of what we saw second half on Saturday is just not acceptable. Up the Dale I sense a win tonight (although its probably 10 games to late).

Tranmere (H) 18th March 2023 - Match Thread on 20:41 - Apr 18 by Nigeriamark | Looks like he was blaming it on a bobble whereas the commentary team say it went under his foot. Poor either way as it was hardly traveling like a speeding bullet |
He had enough time to do a fookin jigsaw before clearing it. Awful keeping and awful awful tactics by Jim. If our board gives him the job then they can swivel . I want my team to at least try to score. I'm sick to death of this negative tripe. And if someone is telling the commentary team to tow the party line , its beyond a joke because they obviously don't believe what they're saying.

2-0 from a pen. Watched it on I follow & Keohane definitely touched the ball so shouldn't have been given.

2-1, Danny Lloyd 25 yarder into the bottom corner. Keeper a bit slow down to it but still a good strike. Game on ?

Tranmere (H) 18th March 2023 - Match Thread on 21:50 - Apr 18 with 2624 views | dawlishdale | Poor stuff overall, but on another night we win that game. Take out the comedy goalkeeping and an awful refereeing decision to give the penalty, and there you have it. Ultimately , we have a team with half a dozen who aren't good enough,. Thought Sinclair improved us hugely. Cannot for the life of me understand why we let him go out on loan or why he isn't starting.
Tranmere (H) 18th March 2023 - Match Thread on 21:51 - Apr 18 with 2614 views | D_Alien | The point was irrelevant since we'd still need to win our last 3 and Crawley lose their last 3, and that's complicated if Hartlepool beat them on Saturday meaning they'd have to lose their final 2

Keohane has been going backwards for the past 2 seasons. Can't for the life of me see how he's an automatic starter? Probably explains why we are bottom and 20 points behind such an average Tranmere team.

Tranmere (H) 18th March 2023 - Match Thread on 22:18 - Apr 18 with 2169 views | surb_dale | Credit to the players for keeping going and snatching a point but that first half was unacceptable. No desire to play on the front foot in a game we had to win. No attempt to cross the ball or have a shot ultimately resulting in giving away one of the most ridiculous goals ever seen. That goal deserved to be the one that relegated to us but we stave off the inevitable for a few more days.

According to our highly knowledgable commentator, it was his first EFL game tonight in anticipation of him making the step up next season. As a result, there was a number of assessors and other officials there tonight to watch him. We’ll probably be seeing him down there next season after that ‘penalty’ decision.
Tranmere (H) 18th March 2023 - Match Thread on 22:31 - Apr 18 with 2010 views | _Windydale | Big Jim should be getting the players fired up before the game. Smelling salts give a couple of them a slap, summat to get their adrenaline going. Fast half, boring, unadventurous football with a lack of desire to take on a man or make that cutting pass. It took us to be losing the match before the players became aggressive enough and show urgency.
