Getting the excuses in early? My primary focus is always on us doing the best we can....not particularly keen on CCFC but I would never want to see us lose just to hurt them. The fact we have achieved the double doube over them up the road has masked our failure to improve overall this season... I always want us to win...its why I moan n here a lot of late!!!

Which is why you are a real fan and are never guilty of this pitiful super fan posturing evident by some . Too right you should complain and never be satisfied. What people post is often not what they really think . It looks good though. Anyone can do that . Huddersfield will rip right into us. If Fishy and the defenders fark about The Terriers will force a mistake and win. If we are “ positive” which means going forward, we should beat them .

Who is going down ? on 21:03 - Apr 11 by majorraglan | In answer to the original question, I think Cardiff are going down. Reading have 3 points from the last 15 with 3 draws and 2 losses, Cardiff have 4 from 15 with 3 defeats. I know someone who was at yesterdays Cardiff match and they said Cardiff were poor, 2 players subbed off before half time. Huddersfield are on a good run and have beaten some tidy teams, they have 11 points from 15 - only Burnley and Preston can better that return. |
Think you are probably right….that Rotherham farce has killed it. Oh well, league 1 it will be, if I’m honest I will probably go more often than now. I’m hearing Tan might well throw in the towel if that should happen, let’s hope so as he cannot cut the mustard in the championship. Without parachute payments you need an astute manager and he’s not capable of finding one who will tolerate him (Warnock snoozed him to death alleg and performed the roles of manager and dof). If we do well we will get bigger crowds than we do now. Wouldn’t want to spend years there but might be worth it to get rid of the useless one.

I don’t think it’s Huddersfield we need to be fussed about, more likely reading, qpr or Rotherham.

Your away games at Sheffield United and Burnley could well return zero points. Then there are the two away at Watford and Rotherham. Obviously three points from one of those will help, especially Rotherham. You have two home games v Huddersfield and your old friends Stoke City. Three points from one of the above and four from these two home games should do it ? Just. The third bottom spot is what everyone is avoiding, by everyone I mean Reading, QPR and yourselves. You are in the strongest position and 49 points should do it.

I almost guarantee that they’ll get something out of either the SU or Burnley games. It’s the way they roll.

Reading have an interesting run, Burnley and Luton at home, cov away, then wigan home and last game away to hudds….that could be a big one! Their goal difference is also bad. Even if we do stay up, next season with even less cash is looking like fun hey. You can almost guarantee the three coming down will go back up now. Great eh? | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I would hate to give up the traditional six points next season if Cardiff did go down. Personally the derby is a game both sets of fans look forward to. Yes agreed on the three coming down.

Wigan, Blackpool and Reading, I can't see any different outcome.

Yeah but it can’t last forever, it never does. Felt the same way about Leeds, we always seem to beat them. We could really do with those 6 points. Btw where’s dr p he’d normally be all over this analysing our future finances and forecasting doom like he has for 15 yrs or more…bless him. Banned again or violated his parole?

Who is going down ? on 18:42 - Apr 15 with 1150 views | dantheswansman | Wigan, Blackpool and Cardiff, Reading have more about them than Cardiff and besides the docking of points would be well out of trouble and Huddersfield can defend better than Cardiff as seen today I think Cardiff have the harder fixtures too marginally Cardiff for the drop

Who is going down ? on 22:25 - Apr 18 with 903 views | Dr_Winston | Last fixtures: Reading Luton (H) Coventry (A) Wigan (H) Huddersfield (A) QPR Norwich (H) Burnley (A) Stoke (A) Bristol C (H) Cardiff Watford (A) Stoke (H) Rotherham (A) Huddersfield (H) Burnley (A) On the balance of it Cardiff probably just about slim favourites to survive. Reading perhaps in a false position due to the points deduction. QPR with a tough run in.

Huddersfield are not out of it as they have played more games. With Cardiff, Sheffield and Reading to play. [Post edited 18 Apr 2023 22:36]
