Zahawi on 10:39 - Jan 30 by onehunglow | Maybe bullied not the apostate word but certainly posters are being cornered into revealing how they vote. I have voted for all major parties and some independent ones too. Normally I vote for anyone who does not pigeon hole me and categorise me. I worry about anyone calling me workin* classor middle class to my face or worse as ordinary ,as I’m still rather volatile . None of us are ordinary |
I'm quite proud of my working class background. Don't see it as an insult at all

Zahawi on 22:23 - Jan 29 by Dr_Winston | No doubt. Political placemen have existed for as long as politics has. Winston Churchill represented about half a dozen constituencies throughout his career if memory serves. |
And he represented different parties.

It takes an awful lot to upset me, don't think I've ever had an argument with anyone since I was about 13 when a mate of mine threw stones at my cricket stumps : )

Zahawi on 11:40 - Feb 1 with 1553 views | felixstowe_jack | I do hope all the strikers being paid strike pay by their Unions will declare the income on their tax returns. Tax evasion is a crime. Wonder if HMRC will be as quick imposing penalties on those who fail to report this income . Currently for some reason strike pay is not taxable. Wonder whrn this tax loophole will be closed. Strikers… Well the fire people walking out . Is that a return to the green goddesses and the army putting out fires with police escorting them . This led to friction between rank and file police and fire brigades . Maybe the Police should walk out. Maybe they should refuse to escort the Army in solidarity with their fellow emergency workers Maybe firefighters should not go on strike

I can't speak for other professions but there is certainly no strike pay for teachers. Some district union offices may have set up hardship funds for those who are disproportionally effected )compared to other members.) This tax on these nominal amounts across the board will probably not amount to as much Zahawi accidently forgot to pay. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Zahawi's tax avoidance wasn't an accident. That's why he was fined. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/politics/tax-boss-hmrc-nadhim-zahawi-fine-innoce
