Drakeford running of the NHS in WALES has nothing to do with empire what a silly thing to say. Even after 25 years of huge subsidies from the UK taxpayers under the Barnett formula it is still a shambles. Drakeford continues to blame the UK government for the mess asks for yet more money yet refuses to use his power to increase income tax in Wales to raise extra money. He is of course happy to impose extra tax on tourists as well as trying to tax holiday businesses with double council tax. Why is he anti business, and why is he trying to destroy Wales biggest industry?

Who will he blame if Labour win the next election? or will there be no problems in Wales with a Labour government in Westminster.

Our political masters see the people as "they" something youd do well to understand. We who live in Cymru, all the people? You may find people are a bit more parochial, the North sees the South as "they" and vice versa. Others are and always have been they if THEY are not part of whichever group is discussing them, to politicians the electorate are "they" I had a look through the thread and I have a question, why do you think calling Drakeford our "JFK" is such a good thing? John F. Kennedy was possibly the most morally corrupt and reckless president in American history. He had links to the mafia...well have a read, there's plenty of literature about JFK and indeed, his whole family. If Drakers is our JFK, by your own post, we are truly in the mire. I don't really see Drakeford as a serial womaniser though.

Except you don’t do you, you little cretin. You consistently show a genuine anti-English prejudice in your posts so I doubt you’d use ‘we’ and ‘us’ to describe English people living in Wales, perhaps not even the vast majority of Welsh people who oppose independence lol

He often denies it but the number and standard of his posts over the years has totally shown us what and who he is. My grandfather was a proud Welshman but he served in the British army and was also British and proud to be that too. It was good enough for him, it's good enough for me. We should never get too wrapped up in nationalism though, it always leads to trouble.

Yeah one of the big problems with devolution is that it gives the incumbent governments an “out” when something they are responsible for is an abject failure they can just blame it on the Westminster bogeyman.

Drakeford on 18:30 - Nov 4 with 1062 views | felixstowe_jack | The Welsh Government announced to day that speed camera on the M4 around Newport are now operational. From the 17th November fines will be issued on all roads with average speed cameras including the new section of the heads of the valley road and the M4 at Newport, Portsmouth Talbot and Swansea. Should swell Drakeford's coffers perhaps enough to build the M4 relief road.

The 50 speed limit through Port tabot, come through there at rush hour (morning or after noon) and you're lucky to get above 20mph, I bet that's very bad for emissions reduction. The same in other areas.

You should go around Worcester in the morning. You lose an hour easily. 10 - 15mph. Same around Brum. Painful. Not Markys fault either.

Today and last Friday returning from Hereford, I've driven the M4 passing the notorious Newport area and you will be blinking lucky to get any where near 40mph. 10mph would have been speeding. This is about 3.30pmish. Absolutely crawling! Went Heads of the Valley in the morning and the new road Brynmawr to Abergavenny 50mph. It's a clear bit of road and not built up. Why?? Drakeford says it is for safety reasons. Apparently a brand new dual carriageway built to the highest standards must have 50mph limit as motorist would not be used to the road. This means all vehicles travelling along the previous 60 mph dual carriageway now have to waste energy by braking to 50 mph and have to stand on breaks on the long downhill section. Funnily enough on the old 3 lane single carriageway it replaced you could do 60 mph . I think the real reason is Drakeford wants to collect speeding fines from motorist.

No, the point was for a large chunk of the day you can't get near 50 anyway. it an take an hour to get past Port Talbot. I can't blae Drakeford for the elevated section but there's a lot that is his fault, because he's first minister and the buck stops there!

It takes me an hour to do about 5 miles around Worcester. I am not sure which Prime Minister to blame, there has been so many of them.
