As big as this was, four of the starting line were from Massachusetts, so its huge around here. If you don't know or remember, the Ruskies were by far and away the best in the world, US was represented by true amatuers, mainly college kids.

Still makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. Sporting brilliance.
I watched the whole game again this morning (it's on BBC iplayer under Scrum V). Some amazing rugby in the game aside from that Edwards try - some of the runs from David Duckham were amazing. Penalties for crooked feeds, hookers have to strike the ball at scrums, New Zealand trying to take JPR William's head off every time they tackled him, the fight between Grant Batty and Tom David which ends with David patting Batty on the head.
And all finished off with another great passage of play for JPR's try near the end.
Extra mature cheddar......a simple cheese for a simple man

Agree. The whole match was fantastic with the Edwards try just the icing on the cake. Probably up there with the England 66 World Cup win as my most watched sporting highlights package.

Best race ever, met Alex George when he donated his winning helmet to our u14s football team, was a good man. We raffled it off and bizarrely someone, unconnected to our family, from Orkney won it. Meant nothing to them, shameful. My sons full name is Alex George, wife wasn't too happy when the ink had dried on the birth certificate 😂

Not strictly following the theme of the thread but two YouTube channels I've enjoyed recently are Lanterne Rouge analysing cycling tactics and The Fifty with ski mountaineer Cody Townsend.
