| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Our permanent signings, Celina aside, have been pretty poor under both Potter and Cooper. I’m not surprised that Peterson hasn’t been getting games, in the few chances he’s had, he’s produced a couple of exceptional moments per game but been largely anonymous. Jury still out on Bidwell and Dhanda. Early days on Brewster and Gallagher, but at least you can see what they could bring to the team. Hopefully Guéhi will be the same.
Peterson on 11:22 - Jan 20 with 4735 views | KGriz16 | Peterson was and has been awful. Wasteful, ponderous and I can't say I'm surprised.
Peterson on 11:48 - Jan 20 with 4604 views | Badlands | Peterson's confidence was on the floor after his blunder against Fulham and the reaction of some in the crowd when played again didn't help. Although I didn't rate him as high as some he might have offered something but he isn't young player. Probably the best for him and us was to get away from Swansea for a while and hopefully get game time and rebuild confidence for next season.

Cooper seemed to lose faith in him very quickly. Early on we were told he was being patient but obviously that's not the case. We've hardly been in imperious form since August and he's not been in the matchday squad as often as not. Would be funny if both he and Asoro end up coming back at the end of the season, should their new clubs not want them. At least Peterson played well in the u23s, more than I can say for Joel. But thankfully Groningen do seem to be playing him now after a quiet start out there.

Peterson on 12:36 - Jan 20 with 4426 views | NWSwans | Less than 4 full games of football, played sporadically in a team that doesn't attack, to write him off is unbelievable. Glad hes gone on loan for his sake, disappointed the option to buy is there. [Post edited 20 Jan 2020 12:36]

Peterson on 12:44 - Jan 20 with 4373 views | swancity | Quite clearly a player with ability who is capable of brilliance but equally capable of being a liability and nowhere near consistent enough to be starting games regularly in the Championship. He's got something though and if he can find that consistency, improve his decision making and produce the goods more regularly then there's a good player in there somewhere.

It’s not as if he hasn’t been training every day or playing for the development team. He hasn’t been able to force his way into the team, partly because Cooper hasn’t felt he’s merited it and partly because we are playing Ayew and Celina our wide to try to get them both and Byers into the team. If the saving on Nordfeldt and Petersons wages cover Brewster, Gallagher and Guéhi, it already looks good business. Don’t forget Cooper and Britton both stated we would be unlikely to bring anyone in this window.

Cooper would rather play central midfielders wide and wingers narrow.

Peterson on 12:59 - Jan 20 with 4290 views | A_Fans_Dad | Cooper couldn't get anything out of him. But then Cooper doesn't get much out of anybody compared to last year and the start of the season. Peterson made the right move to get away and hopefully get game time.

" Cooper doesn't get much out of anybody " Staggering that someone can waste time writing such crap. 5th in the League. Lost McBurnie Fer and James from last season. He's doing a fine job in fact. On a very tight budget.

Well cooper seems to have got 5 more points at this stage of the season than under potter who had James and Mcburnie

Stronger squad than what Potter started with. 6th in the league. Been mostly dire to watch since August.

No way. Yes agreed...not the best quality in terms of entertainment value. But grinding out results. With exceptional away form. WBA and QPR in the Cup excluded.

Borja & Ayew vs McBurnie & Baker-Richardson No Routledge available until his contract was sorted in December. Dan James first half of the season not a patch on the second either.
Peterson on 13:23 - Jan 20 with 4174 views | bakajack | My impressions of Peterson haven't been great, while he is quick and likes to run at players his distribution in transition from defence to midfield has ranged from average to terrible. There were a few instances of hospital passes from him that resulted in a turnover of possession and from there directly into a goal for the opposition. If we could keep him consistently on the front foot then there is a real player there, but its the other side of his game that I feel has been letting him down.
Peterson on 13:29 - Jan 20 with 4135 views | andrew | Truly baffling that he’s gone and McKay is still here. Easily one of the worst footballers we’ve ever had.

Is Borja really a valid argument anymore? Some reason he hasn't done it since August, now kept out of the side by a inexperienced 20 year old on loan. Is Borja more of a hindrance, because of his wage and name amongst the squad he gets his place on the bench? Just a small thought, would anyone have noticed if he had left at the end of September?

It's valid in that Cooper has him available while Potter had to play Courtney Baker-Richardson. We also had Surridge here (who was a downgrade on Borja).

Surridge was far more lively, rate someone who has the work rate. Even if the lack a touch of quality. Baston is now a problem for us, Can't see him starting another game while Brewster is fit, so whats the point in having him.
