Kenny Lynch, British singer and entertainer, dies at 81 on 14:30 - Dec 18 by WarwickHunt
Bit of a lad by all accounts. Very likeable fella.
Believe it or not, this was played at Wigan Casino back in the day (mind you, so was a track by Tony “Lenny Gamble” Blackburn...).
If you think back to the ‘70s all the club comedians would include a song or two to pad out the act, in fairness to Kenny he could carry a tune far better than most.
An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.

Kenny was quite a prolific song writer, writing the hit song "Sha-La-La-La-Lee" for the Small Faces and songs for other artists like Cilla Black. He toured with the Beatles, and was the first person to record a cover version of a Beatles song to be released, with the song Misery.
Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! 😎
