What do you think on 21:27 - Jan 8 with 2204 views | BringBackTheRedRoom | OO falls off roof sunbathing, El Chapo found not guilty in NY and buys club off KO. Actually think we'll finish about 12th in league, then during the summer about 12 players leave and we spend the week before kick off still trying to recruit. Off field, a few more court hearings, then OO finally goes just before Xmas.

We're supposed to be getting some news at the end of next week about either a court appointed receiver or auctions. There have been a few false dawns but it sounds promising this time.

I’d like to say local investor and Belokon but I just don’t think it’s going to happen. Someone will get it cheap with little money to invest and then a few pleas for patience.

I think it will be late Jan / early Feb before we hear anything to be honest It’s not an exact science as it depends on a number of factors So a few more weeks in my view however I’m pretty confident we will see movement in that time frame

Think it's best to keep quiet if you have no news. You have been saying possible movement days for several months. None have come to fruit. Keep this stuff on avfttland where the fairies play.😂😂

I think you'll find that I haven't All I have ever done is offer a plausible explanation for the delay in commencing committal proceedings - which is down to a change of tack Let's see if I am right

I'm still worried that OO will be able to keep hold of the club. Whindyke + the £11m prem payment should just about cover what he owes. You never know.

I definitely think OO will be gone by the end of 2019 - it's how that transition is managed regarding the club that worries me. The timing between things crashing down and our white knights coming in to rescue us is paramount.

Lala, hope I’m wrong but regrettably I think the only White Knight we may see is a tumble dryer in Cash Converters window! 😇 Fred

I get you Fred. i can see how things may go regarding the crumbling of the Oyston Empire but I'm just not sure the plan to catch our fall and rebuild us is fully in place

Isn't it chaos anyway ? There may be a period of pain in the short term but as I see it whatever it takes to return us to normality has to be worth it

There's no choice but to wait it out and see. I could be anything, none of us really know. The recent info does sound promising though.

As with all litigation it's a moveable feast Nothing is guaranteed and timings are subject to change however subject to those caveats I agree

No one has said it isn’t a mess now TAM. However, when asked the question re 2019 ,chaos is the word I would use to describe how things will potentially descend and to a level we probably haven’t seen yet. I didn’t say it wasn’t necessary chaos. That will become clearer later in the day.

I think whoever takes over is going to have a hell of a task on their hands to turn things round There's no real infastructure on or off the pitch, no training ground, a stadium that needs major TLC and little stock on the shelves There will however be a significant amount of goodwill They will need all that and more

TAM Agree with your last post Think one of the hardest jobs is getting the youth support back. Also the Training ground panto has been way beyond embarrassing for years now. As everyone knows what the winters are like here I've never understood why building some sort of multi purpose indoor facility hasn't been mentioned. It could not only be used by the team, but also for concerts, conferences etc.... Just about every High School/University in the USA has one. As for the Stadium, part of me thinks it might need to be rebuilt.

Why would it need to be rebuilt? I worry at the amount of real NAPM out there. I’ve only got to look at some of the characters at work who are “NAPM”. They struggle to remember their last game when asked.

Surprised you ask We have kids who either haven't been or can't remember ever going to BFC We have fans who have found other hobbies whilst sitting out the farce who need coaxing back We have a shambles of a set up with no management structure and inadequate staffing at pretty much every level from the infamous tea lady to the very top We have no commercial department of note, poor ties with potential sponsors, a coaching set up that needs overhauling, repairs that need attending to .... I could go on but my brew has gone cold and it's back to work

We also have fractured fan base that needs repairing. Tolerance from all sides needs to be key.
