That's right and McClaren is going to "build the team around them" according to today's quote. What that means for next season when they have buggered off is obviously not his, or the club's concern.
Build a team, build a style that we will able to build on for a few season's, or panic, get anyone in and do WHAT EVER it takes to stay up. Next season, the next 10-15 years, who cares!
Let's hope they improve the team and don't go off and get injured...

Tendonitis is a very invidious injury and very difficult to make a full comeback from as it is so easy to trigger it off again. If he comes back as good as new and it takes another few months, I'm happy as I thought he was/ is a real quality player. |  |
