Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

One for Byron to get excited about add his own mythical slant 😂
I guess that video was taken at London Bridge Underground station.
Milwall fans say that away fans always pitch up there because they know very well that they'll be met by a large number of the Met. who will safely escort them to the ground - after they've had a few drinks in the Bunch of Grapes.
Apparently very few away fans have had the bottle to turn up at Surrey Quays station, which, I suppose, must be the area where the Millwall chaps have a pre-match drink.
Best have a 100+ macho men if you're thinking of going there.

A few memories from the last time I went to Millwall. Halfway down page 3 there's a few pics from Victoria Station after the game (I'm in the bottom pic )

Was this the game Tatey got sent off for totally wiping someone out on the wing?
Never forget being escorted through Victoria and having a hoard of oriental sightseers taking snaps. I ended up being ushered onto the train to Swansea even though I was living in Tooting at the time.
Its just a ride.

Ha. I managed to slip out of the escort just before entering the underground at Victoria. I did wonder if everyone would be put on a Swansea bound train. A guy in front of me had some ID on him (presumably with a London address) and the police let him out. I might do the same tomorrow

Yes I managed to do the same eventually. Maybe it was you I was with. Were you living in Ladbrooke Grove at the time? Sorry just re-read what you wrote. I ended up ducking out of the line for the train at Paddington and going for a drink with a Jack who lived in Ladbroke Grove

Bottled it, as they might say.
I doubt it. Millwall are more than likely sick of every team in the country turning up en masse for a showdown. It must get tedious, having said that anyone who remembers our run is with them in the naughties (weapons galore seized one Friday night game) would say they had much to prove and when they had the chance they didn't.
Hard to say, but they have had ample opportunity over the years since 1985 when they really were embarrassed by swansea. I was 11 then before anyone responds 😅

Remember it well lovely hot summers day, me and my mate went with FOSCFA (only aged14yrs old) the coach driver got lost near the ground and pulled up outside a pub with about 30-40 Millwall casuals drinking outside he opened his window and in his best South Walian accent said "which way to the ground boys?" everyone on the coach couldn't believe what he had just done as there was a pause for about 3 seconds as every pint glass/bottle was launched at the bus!! And that was the mood for the rest of the day seeing Swansea City fans singing "Saaaaawansea " smack bang in the middle of their fans was the funniest stupidest thing I've ever seen and when ever I get talking to any Millwall fan on holiday...etc they always remember that day and laugh!
The incidents at Millwall, where no arrests were made, followed the late arrival of a coach load of Swansea fans. They ignored instructions to enter the enclosure reserved for them and went into the Cold Blow Lane end. Scuffles followed and 20 Swansea supporters climbed the touchline fence to be escorted round the pitch. A group of Millwall supporters then came over the Ilderton Road end barrier, and further fighting followed.

I remember from the relative safety of the away end! Millwall fans were initially shocked and run back until the cavalry arrived. A few of our lads got battered mind.

James and Richardson? Shows Narsingh,Dyer & Routledge still wont feature for us.
It’s completely bizarre. They’re obviously surplus to requirements as far as numbers go. Debatable on quality but you’d have thought Dyer and Narsingh have the edge on Dan (happy to see dan get game time though). If they’re not even getting on the bench why keep them when they’ve possibly stopped us strengthening where we need it? Very odd.
Surprised he’s playing Socks and BR.

What made me crack a smile was that we have 1000 bought wingers in the squad and we've gone 2 up front and our U20 wingman. It's actually nice to see him trying stuff, and more young players. It's also nice to see that James isn't being automatically booted down the pecking order.
