Bit harsh that, ATP. I thought he did a decent job at Blackpool and many of their fans seem sad to see him go. Joe Bunney is about to have his 4th different manager in just over 6 months since leaving us.

You haven't started writing for Wycombe's programme, have you, ATP?

So do I. I'm not allowed to say what I think about his spell at Blackburn though.

First manager goes on 22:53 - Aug 6 with 3849 views | Daley_Lama | Hull manager might have a short shelf life too. Team that lost their opener tonight had 9 of the 11 who played against us pre-season with other two on the bench. Our 1-0 was therefore against their first team.

Given Blackpool's recent history, there's bound to be some off-field issues behind it. Maybe BisphamBoysLoveGravy will know!

First manager goes on 07:10 - Aug 7 with 3616 views | aleanddale | Trouble ahead at Blackpool - Crazy timing unless Bowyer has some better offer lined up. That can only be a good thing for the Dale. If 4 relegation spots moves to 3 quite quickly that suits me.
First manager goes on 07:35 - Aug 7 with 3586 views | 1907 | Definitely think he has something lined up. Bowyer is extremely well thought of and would be a solid appointment for a lot of lower league clubs.
First manager goes on 07:53 - Aug 7 with 3555 views | EllDale | He have them a lot of stability after all the internal ructions. To take them up and then finish in the top half of the table was a pretty good effort. If he has somewhere else lined up though it must mean that someone else's job is precarious.....

They're favourites for relegation but I don't think they'll sack Adkins no matter what happens. Their owner wants to sell so they have invested next to nothing in the squad because they don't want to drive up the price of the club. They already can't find a buyer at the current asking price. Doubt they will want the added hassle of paying off Adkins' contract and finding a replacement. They are in a right state but Adkins kept them up last year and the fans and chairman know that Hull face an uphill battle this year. They're in that half of the Championship where they will be judged on their results against the likes of Rotherham, rather than Villa, who had far too much class for them to handle. Expect them in League One next year unless they can find a buyer sharpish.
