If you want to hit the reset button, isn't it best to have Huw Jenkins around who has experience. How can you trust unknown Americans like Pearlman who has probably never seen a football match when his job application came about.

The candidates for the job will either be in house like Britton/Rangel or Cameron Toshack, possible big gambles like Potter or return of the old folks Martinez/Laudrup.

Potter looks like the leading contender at the moment with press at the moment.

Agree with nearly all of this... except for the last line. I know that you are passionate and outspoken but you constantly undermine yourself with this sort of comment. It is obvious from the posts on this board that many understand the points covered by Undecided and your reply to him but there are differences of opinion across the spectrum and sometimes just a a nuanced variation of a theme. Just because people do not think the same as you it does not necessarily make them wrong!

One other point, after appointing the "right manager" Jenkins needs to fúck off, no if's, but's or maybe.

You want to see the comment he made to a Swans fan on twitter yesterday that had recently opened up about suffering from mental illness.
Believe me what he posts on here is insignificant compared to that. The bloke is nothing but scum.

The guy is full of contradictions!!

The next steps after tomorrow's game

*Jenkins goes
*We appoint a new chairman, i can add so much on here but we all know what is needed.
*We appoint a new manager, with a vision the same as his and both go together in the correct direction, letting him have more say than previous managers in departments that have killed us in recent years.
*We start to work on highlighting players needed to come in ready for the seasons start.
*We ship out players who are no longer wanted or no longer want to be here.

Its a simple set of solutions in theory, throw in the odd loop da loop and it is going be one hell of a roller coaster in the next few months.........one we should all have our fingers crossed that we are not spewing by the time we get off it.

My hopes are, we appoint a young manager with a vision that will hopefully bare fruit instantly with a younger, hungry more adventurous set of players getting back to us playing football. Hopefully this will see us thrive instantly and push for a early return to the premiership or at worse see us in around the middle of the table and bringing back a sense of identity to our football club.

You and I have both posted stuff that the other has not liked... OK, fine, we get over it and move on. Unfortunately he has a habit of exacerbating the discord from a post of his by even more overly aggressive posts. ECB says(has previously said), that in the flesh that he is OK, so why the over the top posts from him???

We'd have to have Martinez back here to get back to our old style of football and be very lucky in the transfer market.

Its not worked , why let him appoint possibly our grave digger?

Time to go.

Several reasons
None of which are for the good.
And its the reason the forum has gone the way it has.

Jenkins should stay. What he doesn’t know about the club, isn’t worth knowing.
Some fans don’t like him, but that isn’t a reason for him to leave.
If he did go, who’d replace him ?
More important than ever that he stays.

Poll: Alcohol in the lockdown

so in summary, 80% of people want him out for what he has done over the last 3 years, 20% feel he still has something to offer (based on his early work) , this makes 80% idiots in the 20% eyes, the 20% are held in contempt by many of the 80%

but if people keep shouting at each other enough (or obfuscate in 1-2 cases) it will bring everyone to one opinion in due course is the obvious outcome to this (NOT)

or, just as an alternative, say your piece, listen or not as appropriate, then move on ... as winning arguments on message boards is not real life :) and ultimately all decisions will be made by those not actually party to any of this nonsense.
