Boss Brewey, Swansea on 15:38 - May 1 with 2938 views | stevethejack | Cider options not good: Mango cider, sweet as hell and vile £5 for 500ml bottle, not particularly nice Unless they change their cider offerings, won't be going back.
Boss Brewey, Swansea on 16:52 - May 1 with 2880 views | swanforthemoney | I like it, but it tends to have a lot of hops which tends towards a bitterer taste. They have plenty of different brews so you should find one you like. That’s the thing with these types of beers, they have a distinctive taste so it’s possible to dislike them. Give me a pint of this over a Carling or Worthington any day.

Boss Brewey, Swansea on 17:09 - May 1 with 2863 views | max936 | All their beers across road from liberty are on Keg and that without doubt ruins a decent real ale, it’s put on keg to maximise profits as they can pour it quicker, called in after Everton game and won’t be calling there again.

3.50 for most of their ales by Liberty, the Copper bar prices are way over priced, had a decent couple of pints of Jaipur in Hogarths a few weeks back 2.90 a pint at 5.9% only had the two though😂

Boss Brewey, Swansea on 17:37 - May 1 with 2828 views | swanforthemoney | Keg is not necessarily the death of a beer. I visited some small craft breweries in Colorado last year. Some top top notch beers, vast majority on keg. The key is that they are brewed and aged carefully and with skill. Boss probably has a little way to go to get to those standards.

I was getting into the habit of a couple in the Copper bar by the Castle before toddling off to the Liberty. All quite nice and relaxed in there. I can’t be arsed with the crowds around the ground - Hoards of people piss me off at the best of times, let alone when they get between me and a beer! They had a fantastic limited edition on a couple of years ago. Can’t for the life of me remember whst it was called, but it was well lush.

They should get bottled Ty Gwyn cider in. Good stuff.

Ahh Colorado. The New Belgium Brewery Company in Fort Collins was my favourite. Though by the end of my trip I was beginning to get errm confused...
Boss Brewey, Swansea on 19:01 - May 1 with 2751 views | dickythorpe | Despite their range there aren't many outstanding ales brewed by them. I work in wholesale and many customers are unimpressed with their ale. That is a shame as I think they have a decent set up. The Blaze is the nicest ale they do. Very pricey mind. They've had problems with the Copper bar as there was a leak upstairs which caused damage. Max, was in Hogarths today. Couldn't see many ales on tap there. Amstel £3 a pint, happy days!!!

As i stated, i'm not an expert on real ales, I prefer pilsners. The beers i tried there, tasted a bit harsh to me and had a distinctive edge to it which I didn't enjoy

Yes Hogarths is a tad hit and miss, when it first opened it was great, but its gone a bit iffy on the real ales, I just caught it right that day, Mrs had things in town so I popped in to watch the WBA V Liverpool game.
