Carlos Carvalhal now odds on on 11:15 - Dec 28 by TheResurrection | It was the other way around so no marks for outlandish guessing. Jenkins wanted Clement gone weeks ago. |
Most on here reckons HJ pulls all the strings - if that is so and it was the case that HJ wanted Clement out weeks ago, why didn't he sack him ? So either HJ is all powerful and therefore didn't want to sack him, or he has no power and therefore, even if he did want him sacked, the Yanks wouldn't let him. People can't have it both ways

And if he has no influence what is the point in his continuing presence?

Who do you see taking Huw's role? If he goes the Americans will likely appoint someone they know from the hedge fund world, and maybe Landan Donavon, or similar, to help with footballing matters. Given that the American's decisions include: sacking Guidolin and replacing him with Bradley, dragging the sale of Siggy out and so messing up Summer recruitment, thinking Clement got us out of relegation last season so he''ll do it this season and therefore not sacking him soon enough; it could get even worse without Jenkins, as unpalatable as that may seem to see on here.

So if the Yeehaas messed up last summers recruitment, who the loving fuk messed up all the transfer windows since the falling out of love with good football and agents? If Beaky wanted Clement out and the Yanks wouldn't listen, then he has no power or influence. That means it's been proved to him his job is untenable and he should resign, foregoing half a mill a year. With the unrest he's creating, if he was a fan and had the club at heart, he'd walk away. None of the sellouts can be classed as "Fans wanting the best for the club" and should be gone, keeping their shareholding if they wish. Pretty worthless soon anyway Should also be reported if they have broken regs as the Trust originally claimed. If nothing else, a fine, banned from being directors and a news story that may wake people up
| If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious. |

Carlos Carvalhal now odds on on 11:21 - Jan 21 with 2099 views | valleyboy | It’s been odds on for relegation for the last 3 months from 12/1 to stay up before the season started There was also a time last season that the Swans were odds on to go down
Carlos Carvalhal now odds on on 11:30 - Jan 21 with 2057 views | jackjackjackjack | "If Beaky wanted Clement out and the Yanks wouldn't listen, then he has no power or influence." I'd say the decisions to appoint Clement and Carvalhal were more likely to be down to Jenkins, rather than the Americans. Not every decision by the Americans is bad, and not every one by Jenkins is good, but if you think sacking Huw and employing the chairman of DC Utd will "get our club back", good luck with that.

Carlos Carvalhal now odds on on 11:36 - Jan 21 with 2047 views | Joe_bradshaw | We could get rid of Jenkins today and improve the club no problem. What does the DOF actually do? On the football side he determines strategy. A way of playing and the appointment of a manager to implement that way. Liaise with that manager with regard to player recruitment in order to implement the agreed way of playing. Surely Pearlman could do the contract negotiations with players and their agents so that just leaves the football aspects of the job. Sack Jenkins and appoint Alan Curtis today. Curt isn’t a manager but he would be an infinitely better DOF than Jenkins.

We could hire an experienced DoF rather than just jobs for the boys as usual. We don't have to pick a name from the current set up

That alone won't get our club back, but keeping the man who I believe to be the biggest urban myth in football in post doesn't help the situation.

Carlos Carvalhal now odds on on 11:51 - Jan 21 with 1990 views | perchrockjack | We are sinking because we sold good players and bought lesser quality to replace . We ve also given ludicrous extended contracts to those whom no other prem league club would tolerate The guy responsible for this should have gone long time since . It's that simple Finally, it's incredible we still have no idea as to source players at the opportune time

Even more breathtaking is we have a prepubescent tosser who stalks people who don't have posters of Huw plastered on their bedroom walls. The fûcking prick that he is.
