Roberto? on 10:31 - Dec 4 with 7770 views | 34dfgdf54 | He's going to leave Belgium, who have one of the most gifted sets of players in the world, in a world cup season, to take on the Swans lol. More chance of me getting the player manager gig.

The baldy one never struck me as an international manager. I was surprised he got that job for a number of reasons. He seems more the day to day type coach.

Roberto? on 10:36 - Dec 4 with 7729 views | costalotta | One thing is for certain. Whilst we may not stay up it will give us a reboot we so desperately need right now. A proper back to basics / a return to the footballing principles yada yada.

Roberto? on 10:55 - Dec 4 with 7608 views | Dr_Winston | Both a proven Premier League failure and complete c*nt. I'd say it's nailed on.

I hear that for sure. Edit: I was at Wigan for that cup game and vented ! But we move on. What I don't get is why people fans etc get so angry about some players managers leaving and no so others. if it wasn't for Roberto we'd not have had the years that followed. In fact we'd still most likely be in L1. [Post edited 4 Dec 2017 11:00]

It was the manner of his leaving, not the fact that he left. Utter cünt of a man.
Roberto? on 11:01 - Dec 4 with 7572 views | 34dfgdf54 | We definitely haven't got the playing staff to play how Roberto would want us to play either. I know the way he went about things in the past was sly to say the least, but I don't hold the same disdain as most about him I must be honest, I'd have him back in a heartbeat if he was willing to drop a level to the Championship. He would be perfect for us to rebuild and start playing the way we used too. He started all of this off, I know Jackett and Flynn played a massive part, but the footballing identity we had was started by Roberto.

Oh I remember. He ripped us apart. But yo know what, whilst at the time I was pi ss ed of. In retrospect what came out of it was all positive in that funds arrived ! Those funds allowed us to continue to build on top of the foundations and first lift HE put in place.

That's a good point and shows that at that time the club learnt from its mistakes. It doesn't anymore. I'm not sure we should appoint him but if the opportunity was there we'd be extremely foolish not to at least look and seriously consider it. And it's a good deal for all then go for it. Like I said, it wiould be a reboot we need and we should think of us.

Like Dr Winston said a failure of PL manager. Guaranteed relegation if he was appointed.

2 things... relegation is a certainty if we carry on as we are so no difference there. I think I would disagree with your assessment that he's a failure at EPL level. He didnno worse at Everton when you look at it, look at the maths. He kept Wigan up for a few years before they finally went down. Ok, he's got a relegation on his cv but many managers do.
