I'll tell you one thing I've been impressed with over the last few years...
The way the club has been run, our results, our style of football, transfers and managerial decisions have all steadily declined but the quality of the stories that have been leaked to the press has sky rocketed.
Under Sousa we had rumblings of unhappiness with training ground methods and his assistant which in hindsight were boring and unimaginative. Even in the early days of Laudrup things hadn't really moved on from that.
Since then, however we've been regaled with tales of Laudrup f*cking off to Paris to see his daughter, Chico trying to smash Monk's head in with a brick over a bowl of coco pops and now Guidolin missing training to watch the Tour de France... it really is superb stuff

Best thing to do is get rid of both of them and get in a charismatic young manager and try to get back to the ethos that made us succesful in the 1st place.
Playing fast paced football with width and control of the ball.
And that sure as hell ain't Ryan Giggs.

I don't necessarily support that no/lack of experience equals a poor managerial choice. it's worked for clubs bigger than ours, guardiola would be a prime example, as well as Van Bronckhorst at Feyenoord currently. It's more a question of his philosophy, what his intentions for the club are on the field and if he is a good fit personality wise for Swansea. Those are the reasons I'm unsure about Giggs, im sure he'd gain immediate respect, after all he is a serial winner, but can he sympathise with players who don't have the talent he did?? He has never known the feeling of a lower table/relegation scrap - would this be a problem? These are all things the board should take into consideration if they make such an appointment but I fear they wouldn't be able to see past the name.

Man U not finishing in the top three and winning silverware would have felt like failure and a time to re-examine everything to them. Giggs has untapped experience at the very top level, has contacts most can only dream of and TBH what happens off the pitch is no business of ours as long as it's legal and doesn't affect Swans. Any manager that can reboot Swans season, get them playing with confidence and get back to the Swansea style of flowing attacking football. If that is Giggs bring it on. Because it sure as hell ain't Guidolin

I wouldn't say Giggs has contacts most can only dream of, being a world class player doesn't guarantee this. Is he respected by his peers? His private life is always in the media etc, doesn't seem the most pleasant of blokes.
We watched Cardiff completely capitulate under OGS, taking on Giggs will be footballing suicide.
