You're out of order with that jibe. TS is possibly the most balanced poster on this forum.

He has a chip on both shoulders.

No chip on my shoulder, not arsed about your history, why should I be? You've no legacy from you time in the Premiership, to say it's pretty recent history the crowds you are attracting are a disgrace, you've got to admit that one. We have an excuse, we've won bugger all.

If both Clubs had to undertake a Health Check you are aware of which club would come out on top aren't you? Bottom line, your Clubs up shits creek without a paddle and you're faffing about on our forum. It's time you lot took some positive action and demanded some answers before it's too late, don't bother thanking me for that advice by the way, you're welcome.

We'll see.

Was a genuine question rather than a jibe. When we regained 100% of Spotland earlier this year, I'd have been concerned if it was just brought back 100% into our control rather 100% owned.

it's only right that any move by club owners, especially those based overseas, is viewed with a genuine cynicism. There's been too many people have used football as a cashcow in recent years, so if your new stand is owned by a 3rd party and not by OAFC no matter how interlinked they may be, it should rightly be a concern.

the directors and shareholders own it, fans dont

Latics Statement:

The club can confirm that after conducting extensive negotiations with Steve Evans and agreeing terms, he has decided not to become the new manager of Oldham Athletic.
Mr Evans feels unable to commit to the opportunity as he has other offers in the pipeline and this did not meet with Oldham Athletic’s deadline.

We will now focus on our alternative candidates for the role with an announcement as soon as practically possible.

Evans turns them down. Better offers from elsewhere. Biffoboffo will have a ready-made excuse, all will be fine and then he'll blame me. Never a dull moment. The farce continues,,,,

Better offer? Possibly. More about hedging bets I think.

Anyhow, we agreed terms so he was obviously happy enough to sign up to a salary and budget. That suggests to anyone without an agenda that its an acceptable salary and budget if Evans would agree to it.

Like I said. We'll see how it pans out.

Now... Over to you for your sneering, condescending, holier than thou, Dale is all hearts and flowers, best club in the world response

Sorry for being sneering, condescending and holier than thou.

Maybe we should learn to know our place a little bit better?

Sorry to disappoint you.

I have never compared Dale with Latics. I just watch the goings-on at Boundary Park with a sense of schadenfreude after years of 'Billy-Big Bollocks' Latics fans sneering and jeering in this direction.

Whatever Evans' reasons for 'declining the opportunity', he chose/will choose an alternative and presumably, more favourable option.

Your 'Golden Days' have gone. Get used to being disappointed at the lower end of the pecking order.
