The articles I read were pretty sordid - some are already locked up and it looks likes it's got to the point where he's been named and most probably charged. I doubt he is allowed to stay.

He has allegedly been involved in arranging for fellow Spanish players and Utd. players to sexually abuse girls via a Spanish pornography producer Torbe. That producer has just been done for all sorts of nasty stuff including sex trafficking, including of under-age girls. De Gea arranged for Iker Muniain and another player to abuse a girl in a hotel room. Suggestions are he was trying to arrange the same for four Utd. players. All allegedly and all pieced together from small articles all over the place that are popping up now. Looks like he's out of the Euros and if true he's going to jail and rightly so. He hasn't been accused of a criminal offence so he won't be going to jail (based on what has cone out so far anyway). But there's no way he can be in the public eye / representing his country right now.

Well he's not currently guilty of anything so that's just weird.

Yeah I am jumping the gun probably but surely if it is true that he has arranged for a woman to be raped, he would be charged with something?

Woah, that's not the case at all! It's been alleged that he introduced two players to (effectively) a pimp. What happened after that is not his legal responsibility.

Fair enough, legally clean but morally not. Very dirty business in my book. If what has been reported is true, I'd send him down.

Think back to the uproar that Sunderland received because they kept Adam Johnson in the team. blatantly obvious why hes been sent home.

If it can be proven that he knew what the outcome of that introduction would be (ie the alleged rape) then he's in trouble. As you say though, morally despicable behaviour either way.

Hi Darran. You're right that he may not have made the introduction as alleged, but the police believe there is a case to answer and as a result there's simply no way he can 1. focus on his game and 2. represent his country.

Your right he might not be but that is for the prosecutors and courts to decide but if he is found guilty and he played in the Euros it would not look good would it. I can fully understand why he has gone home.

Pimping is against the law itself anyway surely? The papers are saying it is?
