Who else? If he is available at £5m then it's a yes from me. He's got pace, premier league experience.

Think I would go along with that, hopefully we can balance him coming with Gomis departing to Palace on an exchange deal.

Last scored in September. Previously linked with Bristol City.

I'd rather stick with Gomis.

I agree with the above.....although he does seem to fit the clubs current criteria of a striker "CHEAP" so I can see this happening.

I could say something here.... but I might perjure myself

You might think I've forgotten, but one day, when you least expect it, my time will come.

Nah. Disappointed if we're aiming this low.

I know we need people in, but not just anybody.

Wiki is including sub appearences in this his actual record is

20 goals in 30 starts.

No please tell me what is wrong with that?

Would be a great signing.

No from me.. why do we want to sign a striker who can't even oust players like Wickham and the bloke with the funny hair who both can't score themselves??

Maybe cheap but we need some quality up top to survive

Behind the utterly appalling Chamakh in the pecking order at Palace.

Meh, meh and thrice meh.

Need to aim higher , I'd rather stick with Gomis.

Would offer us so much more than Gomis. Whilst I agree that if he is behind Chamakh and the like in the pecking order for Palace then alarm bells start ringing, but why is Montero behind Routledge and Barrow for a place on the wing? is he a bad player? perhaps he doesn't fit into their way of playing...I think he would fit into our team perfectly, we are crying out for a striker who can get in between defenders or someone who can use their pace to get into certain areas. 20 goals in 30 starts (if that is true) is hard to argue with. Go get him Huw!

Underwhelmed, Huw trying to use some money off coupons or something ?

He certainly wouldn't be my first choice this window, but if we're not getting anyone else in, I see no harm in having a different option available to us. Part of our problem this season is that we haven't really had a different option when Gomis isn't doing the business. Eder plays too similar a role and Ayew is better coming from deeper so a small terrier type wouldn't be bad to have on the bench. Yes, of course we need a decent proven striker who will start games but if there isn't going to be one ....................

I honestly don't see Eder as much of an improvement over Emnes, perhaps he could change that with more game time, but we can't really afford more game time when we need goals so badly.

We've spunked enough money on rejects lately. I hope this stops under Guidolin.

Stick with Gomis, if Gayle is the other option.

If we need pace up front for 20mins stick barrow up top, we played Dyer as a striker before now.

Unless we are getting top notch then may as well use what we have. I've not seen Eder get a run of games yet either,so how do we know he is any good or not?
