No chance of that DDB. Plenty of squirming and silence for the next 3 weeks. Hope day has ramped up on the Milky bar production he will need them come March! Walter Mitty with no money of his own. #loans #justborrowmore
tomorrow can't come quick enough on 12:05 - Feb 11 with 7743 views | SuddenLad | More smoke and mirrors. If the bill had 'been paid in full' what reason could there be for HMRC continuing with the petition ? Could it be because they are behind with yet more payments and that HMRC ad the Court are determined that this situation cannot continue. ? Making an 'enemy' of HMRC is a dangerous and foolhardy thing to do. There will only be one winner and the cost to a business of being constantly associated with dubious financial practices, adverse publicity and poor business management is limitless. Tick, tock...........

Maybe they want to chat about the CCJ's, Late Tax returns, being funded using massive high interest loans. Will HMRC have any liason with Companies House? Accounts still not been posted. #sinkingsand

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 12:33 - Feb 11 with 7677 views | SuddenLad | The Finacial Director at Giggle Lane maintains that despite the petition hearing it's 'business as usual' !! 'Usual' for Bury that is. A shocking example to anyone.

HMRC will not be interested in any debts owed to parties other than themselves. The overdue return relates to the Annual Return which gives a list of the shareholders. The Annual Accounts are due to be published by Companies House on 29 February i.e. this month. [Post edited 11 Feb 2016 13:03]

So what was it? An administrative error or having the game postponed resulting in loss of income? If the game had gone ahead, how would that have affected "an administrative error"? He's tying himself up in knots trying to sound competent. Worse still, this affects us all. Having legal costs reimbursed comes out of our (taxpayers) pockets. What a tw@t.

Agree with the first paragraph but despite the obvious anger at taxpayers footing the bill can't blame them for claiming costs. A stupid decision by HMRC to pursue a court case for a debt that has already been paid (slap forehead smiley thingy) Whether they'll be able to stretch costs to £3m though is another thing (won't stop them trying though)

To be honest , when I read it yesterday I thought 'that can't be right?' HMRC called the hearing because bury were a week late paying their tax bill - ok they paid it eventually but the fact that they delayed payment by a week was still a reason for them to explain themselves - and pay the costs of the hearing. HMRC weren't the ones in the wrong.

What's even more delusional is that SD continues to believe that They 'continue to pay our bills' even with the 5/6 (I loose track) Outstanding CCJ's. Unbelievable Jeff, I mean Stewie

Its all very strange. They reported on the bury forum that bl9 owed S.G.Sports £187k. S.G.Sports gets wound up , then bl9 gets wound up. And I guess there are some people out there who bought tickets and haven't had refunds?

If you were to ask me, I'd describe the whole BL9 thing as a scam to extract money out of anyone foolish enough to part with it to those scheisters, whilst knowing they could point the finger at Bury Council. Anyone with business sense would know the rules regarding that type of event.
