it's worth appealing the red, ref took no action against the hull players. in each instance they initaited it on barton, one was a shove in the back from bruce, then huddlestone pushed him. i'm no fan of barton but you can't have a ref giving red cards to one team for pushing whilst ignoring the other team doing it. |
Having played rugby for over 30 years (and ice hockey for 6 years before that), it baffles me how pathetic some sending offs are in football.
If you compare that to some of the 10 minute sin binnings in the 6 Nations over the last two weeks, it's embarrassing that someone gets sent off for a couple of little pushes. |  |
