Don't know if any of you care now, given it being more important to look ahead rather than back but was just listening to Sky Sports News Radio who claim their "sources" (always wondered who they were) claim Laudrup had rejected Nacer Chadli and Lewis Holtby deals when offered to him by the board. And by the time he'd changed his mind the deals were already off. One or both of those players would have greatly improved our side, and Chadli especially would have suited Laudrup's style, so why would he reject the chance to sign someone he wanted last summer? All was clearly not well.. Be interesting to hear Laudrup's next interview, wherever, and whenever, that may be. | |
