He's doing a bl@@dy good impression of someone who's hiding. He waffled on about how poor communication has been & that it would change under the new regime yet we've heard absolutely nothing from him on the January shambles. It's pathetic.
I'd love to know what's going on, as a long time season ticket holder who's just got back from the game I'm bl@@dy annoyed. The last few performances have been a disgrace
Bradley wasn't hounded out, he was deservedly sacked after some terrible performances & bizarre tactics. No consistency in selection, he completely changed the back 4 from 1 league game to the next (and not due to injury/suspension) - I don't remember ever seeing a manager do that before or since.
Undoubtedly he has talent but so far the only manager to unlock it was Schumacher at Plymouth. Derby fans didn't rate him, we didn't see much in his limited game time for us & Plymouth fans have been slating him this season. It'll be interesting to see how he gets on at Middlesbrough.
They're doing that because they're spectacularly badly run. They paid over £80 million for Antony & they're paying over £300K a week to Rashford & Casemiro. Upping ticket prices is a p1ss in the ocean in comparison.
No I don't want to see Pullis football but neither do I want to see slow tedious stuff either. There's a balance somewhere between the 2 extremes. We need far more pace & flair than we currently have. The key is clearly far better recruitment. Your last paragraph asks the question & I think most of us think that unfortunately the answer is no.
Even more reason to make better footballing decisions. Why give Walsh a 3 year contract? Why give Pedersen such a bumper contract when he was at best an average Championship player? Who thought Kuharevych was worth the transfer fee? How much have we wasted on loan players who've barely contributed anything over the last few seasons? If our budget is limited we simply have to stop wasting the money that we have got to spend.
Massive risk that we can't really afford, might work out OK but probably won't. He's spent a lot of his time at Sheffield United injured & can't score when he's fit. Shame as we know the ability is there
I agree with Vetch to be honest. I'd love to see Darling signed up, he's our best defender & will be very difficult to replace but we can't afford to throw stupid wages at him. The previous owners blew it regarding his contract unfortunately. The reset has to be with smarter signings & better contract decisions but we're currently tied in to some terrible decisions by K & L. Nobody is going to take Pedersen off us on his current wage so until contracts like his end we're massively restricted.
