Saw them beat Reading last season with a last minute goal. Have to say thoroughly enjoyed the game, great little ground, good atmosphere. Made me laugh because they had a chubby midfielder - the sort I hadn’t seen for a few decades! |

Agree, the weeping and gnashing of teeth on here over a narrow defeat from a club 2 places below us has been unbearable. I thought Shankleys’s quote: Football is not a matter of life and death, it’s more important than that” was tongue in cheek, I’m not so sure now! |

I think it’s a good move, has not cut the mustard in the prem ever. Loved him last season and may love him next season. Maybe nick is letting his emotions dictate here, but Sulemana is different league and we may have a manager who can get a tune from him now. This move is completely logical. |

I don't think Labour will last 5 years Ian for one moment. They will hand the baton over much like Rishi did when they are told to. The Reform party is receiving billionaire funding and will be catapulted to victory at some point before 5 years.
Labour's main role via Rachel from accounts seems to be about going in hard on the middle classes and destroying small business until you have just the super rich and the rest on UBI (universal basic income), which could also bring in CBDC as they crash the fiat system.

Yes Ian, you appear to struggle with this concept! 
Yes Southampton Fan you are right, Selles and Ralph doing well at other clubs, even Nathan Jones does fine at other clubs. We are clearly unable to compete at Premier league level and even Pep would struggle with these journeymen, so it is not sustainable or sensible to keep swapping over the manager. Give Juric a chance, surely he can get us 6 points?!
SR are changing things at the top belatedly, but hopefully they have learnt lessons and on our next return to the big boy league we won't be a laughing stock. |
