I think we'll end up writing him off but I'll give him credit for putting the yards in for the Norwich win at home. Pressed and chased down enough to stop them getting comfortable at the back and was on the end of a pretty cùnty challenge that looked a thick yellow to me. |

Didn't someone on here return the ball to David Luiz from the Paddock "with interest" during the 1-0 win? |

That's some amount of shìt as from what I could tell, Morris spent the entire 90 minutes honking. It amazed me he was able to get sufficient oxygen on board for cardio around the bleating - moaning about the ball, the pitch, our players, his players, the ref, the ambient temperature, the disenfranchisement of the Chagossians. He didn't fùcking stop. All the better for us as there's a handy striker in amongst the whinging. |

Ashby winning hearts and minds with the initial block - know where you're supposed to stand and burst your bollix getting there. |

I actually groaned when he put that cross in - high, floaty, no real pace there - I'd expect a keeper to come and claim that pretty easily. Still, Kaminski didn't and Frey dominated the full-back and provided a superb finish. Any cross that results in a goal is a good cross. |

Best live: Furlong's goal in the play off semi v Oldham. The cool football kids would call it "limbs" these days but it was so much more than that, almost orgasmic in intensity. Top of SAR that day and literally hit the roof. Best moment: Actually not even a game but the promotion parade around the bush when we came up the season after. Managed to gib into the reception at the town hall through a kitchen window so a perfect end to a perfect day. Ollie was slaughtered. Worst live: Hard to look past the 6-1 at Scumford Bridge. 1 down in under 30secs, 4 down after 25mins, FullKitWànker scoring and Torres getting a hat-trick. Only Cisse getting the consolation has allowed me to keep rubbing 1986 in their fùcking drooling mongoloid faces. Honourable mention to the 6-0 at Foolham - ruined a great day drinking in the sun by the river and binned it at half-time. The Andy Johnson who got the hat-trick cannot be the Andy Johnson we signed and no-one can tell me different. Worst moment: Again, not a game, but the tragic, tragic deaths of Ray Jones followed by Kiyan Prince shortly after really had me wondering what the point of it all was. I didn't know either but it felt each time like a friend had died. |

Might have mentioned it, but I can't stand them. Even the one time I thought they'd done us a favour - paying £2m for Paul Parker - was tainted by Man City paying an extra £500k for Keith Curle. |

My dad was a United supporter from the days when the only football they'd show in Ireland were Man United games and he took me to my first QPR game at home to United, a draw we should have won by 3 or 4 with my extensive 8 years of footballing knowledge. In the intervening 40 years I've grown to a point where I can't stand them. Can't stand their self-entitled, overpaid and over-valued players, their arrogant, tyrannical managers, their sheep-like fans, their corrupt board, the bias constantly shown them by cowardly officials like Lee Mason, the incessant bleating from the gaggle of their ex-players-turned-pundits, their shìtbox crumbling stadium and their no-mark city with it's enormous chip on it's shoulder that it's not London. Even the players they've loaned to us over the past 30 years have been shìtty two-bob strollers. The only good thing about them is they're not Chel*** |

That was the straw that broke that camel's back for me. I was just about willing to forgive the constant punches to the nearest striker, hoofs into row Z, diving for shots in installments and ill-judged social meeja moves until he spaffed that one. And he has the cheek to charge several hundreds of pounds to coach young kids on fùcking goalkeeping technique. |

That's pure quality but when I learned he didn't actually play bass on "Rock the Casbah" it was like realising the man you've been calling "daddy" all your life should actually be Norman Watt-Roy. Disturbing. |

The quality of football in this league is usually variable but this year it's almost as though the players have collectively decided to really shìt the bed in a dirty protest at Sky's fùcking with the schedules. You can't look at this and tell me there's not at least two, possibly three players "sending a signal." In Italy you'd be looking at their bookies accounts.

I think you've nailed it in the second sentence. If you replace Morrison (unbeaten in however many) and Cook (fronting a Richard Dunne tribute band) with Clarke Salter ("they may take our lives, but they'll never take our freedom!") and Morgan Fox (look into my eyes, look into my eyes, the eyes, the eyes, not around the eyes, don't look around my eyes, look into my eyes, you're under) then bad things will happen. Even made Nardi look shìt today and I elected him PotY about 2 months ago. [Post edited 26 Dec 2024 21:10]

| Forum Reply | Where are the "Nourry out" comments now ??? at 19:07 23 Dec 2024
Back in November on the massive Noury Out thread I said In every substantive way, the club has gone out of the way this season to restrict and filter information, whether that be financially (transfers, contract lengths), operationally (who's fit to play and when anyone isn't will be fit, access to the coaching staff) or organisationally (who works here and what they do). Since then someone's decided to communicate regular - and pragmatic - injury updates (we went from Dembele being "a few days away" to "fùcked until Feb, earliest"), and we've had a reasonable statement about how and why our head of performance is on another continent (still don't agree with it). Like our performances on the pitch, it's by no means perfect but the comms from the club have improved and that shows a willingness to listen and act. Nourry will find running this club like tap-dancing in a mindfield and will doubtless blow another toe off at some point but if he's responsible for the change in comms... fair play. |

Shìt goalkeeper but he was the dapperest player at the club with his chunky knit jumpers and his effortlessly smart but casual wool/cashmere numbers. |

I like C block (rows M up), view is pretty good, although in the platinum price band so you're paying £40+ for what is technically a restricted view (School End goal bisected by the far left support stanchion). B block (to the right) is gold so cheaper and probably a better view (although tricky to see what's happening in the Loft/SAR corner. Bit more atmosphere in F & G being closer to the Loft but you have to do a weird combination of going up to go across to go down to get to some seats. The catering is pretty meh since the converted the bar into the C Club (or whatever that restaurant is) but no worse than the rest of the ground and for my money, better than Ellerslie. those bizarre long cross field left to right passes If Barbet was playing them, these would be "diags" - check your glossary or I'm gonna point at Pete. |
