Twisted Mule are owned by a local business man who already has venues in Rochdale and Norden. They aren't quite ready to start selling their own beer yet but it will be coming. Only reason I don't have a couple in the Ratcliffe is JW Lees beer really is the lower end of the market for me. |

As it was a red for preventing a goal scoring opportunity, it should only be a 1 match ban, unless that's another rule change I have missed. |

I think we played very well for 80 minutes, but some of the lads looked out on their feet by then, subs should of been used to freshen the team up for the last push. |

Aye, D'Ale House do Craft Lagers, currently have a 4.8% one and a German Pilsner at 5.3% (Furstenburg), also available, a nice Wheat Beer on draft too. |

I Like the Rochdale Trust idea, as i have been slacking and haven't joined yet, I assume members can show a card or something similar? |

Hi Folks, Just a quick mention of the fairly new micropub that has opened at the bottom end of Drake Street, D'Ale House. I have seen a few posts on here regarding Real Ale so i thought I would mention it. Selling 5 cask ales, with the house ale being D'Ale, a well know Pictish brew otherwise know as Alchemist Ale. Also 30p off for CAMRA members of the cask and the keg, with the same discount available to supporters with a ticket on a match day. Also 12 kegs from breweries such as Vocation, Tiny Rebel and Thornbridge to name a few. |

Can't argue our performance was brilliant but I thought Shrewsbury are one the most organised and skillful teams we have played this season. They played as a solid unit with very little space for our players to exploit, making us look poor and unimaginative. Ryan was MoM but for Bobby keeping us in the game for me. |

We have 5 cask, prices range normally from £3.00 to £3.80 depending on the beer and strength, but CAMRA members and fans on Match days who have a ticket (home or away fans) get a 30p a pint discount. We also do some keg and lager, which is a little more expensive. |

First Pub, The Church Inn, Castleton with my Grandad, who was caretaker at Castleton Primary School, in 1977 First Local, The Airmens club at RAF Cosford First Rochdale Local, The New Inn, Castleton after i left the RAF. There was 13 or 14 pubs between Slattocks and Sudden in Castleton, when we opened the Old Post Office Ale House in 2016, that took it back up to 4. |

Hendo's goal even if the ball had initially crossed the line, the officials hadn't given it at that point. |
| Forum Reply | Joe Bunney and the subs at 11:10 7 Apr 2019
I thought Joe did well considering the lack of help at times. What I don't understand is why Hamilton seems to be on the fringes, he is a very good player, has proved he can score as well. I would play him further forward, sat just behind Hendo and Alby. Put Rathbone and Camps as a central midfield and stick with the 3 and the wing backs. |
| Forum Reply | Oxford United (h) at 22:39 12 Mar 2019
Not really sure what people are expecting from Camps, he probably made more tackles and interceptions than any other midfielder tonight, he rarely hoofs it, always tries to find a pass and keep possession. He does get caught out dwelling on the ball sometimes, but not that often. Tonight the only better player was Ntlhe. |
| Forum Reply | Oxford United (h) at 22:27 12 Mar 2019
Scrappy game, played in difficult conditions on a crap pitch. Dale fought for everything, as did Oxford. Ntlhe's MoM was well deserved, Camps played okay, Bunny was both excellent and useless at the same time and Jim did well to last the 90, considering all the play acting Mackie was doing to try and get him a second yellow. Probably a fair result, roll on Saturday. |

Have to agree, Rathbone has been the player we really miss when he is not there, apart from his technical ability he is our one player who gets stuck in and stops the opposition having so much time on the ball. |
| Forum Reply | Match thread at 22:54 19 Feb 2019
Wimbledon were first to every second ball and showed more fight than we did, only Lonergan and Hamilton were really at it for Dale. To be fair thou, Wimbledon played a lot better than their bottom of the league status and deserved the win. |

The Commercial is open and doing well, The Junction recently re-opened, incorporating a Tapas outlet, which is getting mixed reviews. The ''nice new bar" is The Old Post Office Ale House, which we opened in Feb 2016 in the old Post Office opposite Zeera's. There have been other new businesses opened since and there are few properties boarded up or closed now. Casleton has certainly improved in the last two years, but we still have a long way to go. |
