"There appeared to be light at the end of the tunnel for Stewart in recent weeks, when he played 45 minutes for Southampton under-21s recently. Having not made any further appearances since, it has been revealed that his recovery has been ‘scaled back’ on advice from the club’s medical team after they noticed a reaction to his injury.

Yeah, I read a bit about this yesterday with Fabrizio Romano saying Ivan Juric really wants to continue in his role next season.
"Look, I'm told that he really wants to continue. He wants to follow this project, also next season, restarting from the Championship, trusting young players. And Ivan Juric is a manager - we know him very well in Italy - who needs some time in pre-season in order to make an impact.
"It was already a very complicated situation at Southampton, but Ivan Juric is not the kind of coach who arrives in October, in November, and can change the situation. He needs time. He needs pre-season. He needs to bring his methods in terms of training."

Agree 100% with that article.
We have absolutely nothing to lose right now. Juric is so out of his depth - so clueless - that we simply could not do any worse by handing over the job to Rusk & Lallana for the remainder of the season. Infact, we'd probably see a slight improvement amongst the players as I'm pretty sure they've all had enough of him (Juric) too. |

Nearly a year to the day since the Baltimore bridge incident. That was due to a total loss of power to the ships' propulsion system. Be interesting to hear the outcome as to why the North Sea collision happened. It does make you wonder... a tanker full of jet fuel destined for US military aircraft. I'm no conspiracy theorist, but even so...

Despite dense fog at the time, a mariners nightmare btw, it may well have been a steering gear failure. Remember the huge container ship Ever Given blocking the Suez Canal a few years back? That was attributed to a steering loss. |
